A free to visit work of art. Originally built during the 12th Century, it was largely destroyed during the earthquake of 1667. It was rebuilt in Roman Baroque style. Reconstruction began in 1673 and it was completed four decades later in 1713. Some beautiful paintings in particular look out for the Triptych of the "Assumption of Mary" by Titian, above the main altar.

Според местна легенда, строежът бил финансиран от дарение на английския крал Ричард Лъвското сърце, след като претърпял корабокрушение и морските вълни го изхвърлили на брега край Дубровник. La cathédrale était plus petite et sobre que ce à quoi je m'attendais, mais très jolie tout de même. Ça se fait rapidement et c'est gratuit.
