Open daily from April to November, Restaurant Melita warmly welcomes both locals and tourists alike to come and experience the essence of Dalmatian cuisine. Our operating hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, allowing you to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner amidst one of the most beautiful natural settings in Croatia.

Na malenom otocicu Sv. Marije pronasli smo najljepsi restoran na Mljetu. Hrana je bila pre ukusna. Sve sto smo narucili, narucili smo po preporuci konobarice Dragane koja je jako ljubazna i gostoljubiva bila prema nama. Nadamo se sljedeci put kad opet dodemo da ce nas ona posluzivati ❤️

Super restaurant ! Si vous faites la marche, vous pourrez appeler un petit bateau qui viendra vous chercher exprès pour le restaurant. Le service et la nourriture était parfait. Nous avons beaucoup rigolé avec le serveur. Digestif offert et plats généreux ! Je recommande !

Na malom i ljupkom otočiću Sveta Marija nalazi se restoran Melita do kojega stižete brodićem Nacionalnog parka Mljet. Pogled predivan, ljubazno i spretno osoblje, izvrsna hrana i cijene pristojne za otok. Narucile smo pržene lignje i pileći file....sve fino, svježe i ukusno. Posebna pohvala domaćem kruhu kojeg obavezno morate probati.

We biked around the lakes and took the small boat to St Mary’s island. The restaurant offers food but our stop was for a cocktail. The Blue Lagoona was nice and refreshing. It was a very enjoyable atmosphere. After our drinks we walked around the island’s monestary. It was a very nice stop on our bike ride.

Highlight of our day! Where else in the world can you bike on a greenway in a park and stop, wave a red flag from shore and a handsome man in a boat drives over to pick you up? Great drinks! Great staff! Memorable experience. Our boat driver, Danny was amazing, so sweet! We will definitely be back.

Wave the flag and wait patiently for the boat to come pick you up and bring you to the island. Our boat driver was also helping scoop ice cream and serve tables so keep that in mind while you're waiting and be patient! The trip over is very fun and we got a patio seat to enjoy drinks before getting back on our bikes and exploring the park more. Definitely worth the detour! The restaurant is also accessible by ferry but that isn't as fun!

Lokacija izvaredna i čarobna, preljepa priroda sa fantastičnim spektrom boja. Uslužila nas je Dragana koja je bila na visini zadatka. Komunikativna i nasmijana. Preporučila nam je crni rižot koji je bio za pamčenje, kremast miršljav sočan lijepo dekoriran. Vraćamo se sigurno.

Awful! Ordered 2 cups of hot cappuccino and a piece of cream cheese cake while we waited for the ferry. Received 2 cups of Luke warm cappuccino and a piece of cheese cake that was tasteless. For the pleasure we paid EUR 16.20 So disappointing as the setting is lovely. A tourist trap at its best!

Na šarmantnom otočiću Sveta Marija nalazi se restoran Melita do kojeg vozi brod nacionalnog parka ili privatni čamćić. Mi smo se odlučili za čamćić koji se poziva mahanjem crvenom zastavom s dijela obale koji je najbliži otočiću. Kapetan Deni nas je za par minuta prevezao u drvenoj barci na električni pogon. Nakon šetnje otočićem naručili smo jelo u restoranu i po preporuci neše konobarice Dragane naručili riblju juhu, salatu od hobotnice, crni rižot i ribu cipal. To je ujedno i bio i najbolji ručak koji smo pojeli na otoku Mljetu u četiri dana. Rižot je bio divno kremast, riba svježa, juha i salata od hobotnice prefine. Sve servirano s toplim domaćim kruhom i domaćim vinom u obilnim porcijama (kakve su nekad bile standard). Cijena je ista kao u drugim restoranima po otoku i više od poštene kad uzmete u obzir da se nalazite na otočiću, na otoku, u sred nacionalnog parka Mljet. Hvala Dragani i Deniju na gostoprimstvu🙂

Za svaku pohvalu hrana, ugođaj i usluga. Nakon što nas je barkom prevezao simpatičan lađar Deni dočekala nas je gospođa Dragana, konobarica. Zbog njezine i više nego profisoinalne usluge uživali smo u ukusno pripremljenoj hrani, svježim ribama, hobotnici... Kada ste na Mljetu obavezno navratite nećete požaliti!

We ordered two small drinks, but the waitress charged us for something completely different. She claimed it was for “the water in the glass bottle” – even though such an item doesn’t exist on the menu. There were only prices based on milliliters, and no mention of this product at all. We paid for 0.5 liters of water but were only given 330 ml. The difference in price was outrageous. For instance, a small juice listed as 0.3 liters turned out to be just 0.2 liters, yet we were charged 5 euros. The “small” water, which should have cost 1.3 euros, was instead charged at 3.4 euros. This is not just a mistake – it’s a deliberate attempt to deceive customers. It’s dishonest and feels like a scam. Tourists should not be taken advantage of like this.
