Hrana ovde je lepa kao samo ostrvo, pripremljena od lokalnih namirnica sa toliko pažnje i ljubavi, kako Mljet i zaslužuje. Vlasnik i osoblje su jednako predivni, učine da se osećaš dobrodošlo kao da si lokalac. Najbolji odnos cene i kvaliteta u Polačama i vredi ako stignete danima kada je potrebno da rezervišete unapred. Jedva čekam da se vratim! The food here is as beautiful as the island itself – prepared with such care and love using local ingredients, just as Mljet deserves. The owner and staff are just as wonderful, making you feel welcome like a true local. It's the best value for money in Pomena, and definitely worth it even on days when you need to book in advance. I can't wait to come back!

Given that it was our last day on Mljet, we wanted to finish with good food accompanied by a pleasant ambience. In Konoba Ankora we got it all - from the first greeting to the farewell. The waiter created a welcoming, homely atmosphere with his first approach. When he asked if everything was okay, firstly over drinks and then over food, he made it clear that customers are valued here. I highly recommend a visit, especially their octopus. The food is delicious and local! 😊

Very friendly and welcoming service from Renato at his family restaurant with mom in the kitchen. Very well prepared meal with really excellent black risotto. Nice view on the bay and 3 buoys for visiting yachts. Prices are as usual in the area.

Nous avons tellement aimé ce restaurant que nous y sommes allés deux jours de suite ! Sans aucun doute, le meilleur que nous ayons testé en Croatie depuis le début de notre voyage. Accueil chaleureux, personnel au top, attentionné et généreux, toujours une petite attention ou une surprise offerte par la maison. Franchement, rien à redire : tout était délicieux, l’ambiance parfaite, et le service vraiment exceptionnel. Restez comme vous êtes, et encore un grand merci pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil. C’était un vrai plaisir !

After several dishes in Dubrovnik, we are so disappointed for the food is (and so expensive). It really amazes us how the dish is here. Everything is home-made. We took the fish soup and it is so fresh. And seabass is absolutely amazing! It’s the most authentic food we had in Croatia for now! The service is so nice and I highly recommend it
