Avoid if you like fresh food! I had some truly awful food here: the deer medallions (24E) were flavorless and tough, even though they had been forked almost to hamburger. Too much cherry sauce overwhelms the meat (attempting to hide the poor quality). The ricotta rolls were tasteless. The mushroom soup was fine but the bread container was dry, tough and tasteless—inedible. AND the walnut rolls with honey were awful: a grey mush of dough and nuts that tasted like they had been frozen and defrosted numerous times. Nothing like the picture. To be fair, my husband liked his sausages and my side salad was fine. Staff were pleasant. BUT we had better food (mostly for less money) at every other restaurant during our visit to Ljubljana. I should have known from the tacky plastic figure at the entry.
