Traditional setting and ambience, serving Slovenian food. The waitress was dressed in traditional clothes which added to the whole dining experience. The waiter was polite, efficient albeit stoic. I believe that this is a cultural difference. Food was fairly good and prices are affordable as compared to other European cities.

Ci sono stata a cena con amici. Cibo molto molto buono ma prezzi un po' alti rispetto la media. Da provare assolutamente le due zuppe di funghi e di goulash nel pane. Ambiente molto caratteristico. Purtroppo nota negativa è anche qualcuno del personale che aveva atteggiamenti maleducati...

I had this special dish with three types of game each in their own sauce - absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Wasn’t so keen on the Apple strudel which was made with pancake instead of filo pastry and they are a bit tight refusing to serve tap water

Fuimos al restaurante para poder probar la comida eslovena, la comida estaba bien pero el camarero se negó a servirnos un vaso de agua de grifo, cuando en eslovenia en todos los sitios en que he estado viviendo aqui 4 meses, que no han sido pocos, no ha habido ningun problema. Posteriormente y a regañadientes pedimos la botella de agua, que cuando al ver la cuenta costaba la maldita friolera de 6,50 euros, menudos estafadores, en mi vida me habían cobrado tanto por una botella de agua de 1 litro. Aunque no tengo foto del ticket, acabo de ver reseñas con foto del ticket que les ha pasado exactamente la misma historia que ha nosotros. Estafadores.

My guests wants to try typical slovenian cuisine. In Sokol took kranjska klobasa (Slovenian sausages), svinjska rebrca (pork ribs) and was very, very satisfied. They said to me at the end : Next time we will try some other meal, but at the same place. January 2024: new guests, again satisfied.

The restaurant was cute and nicely decorated. The service was also good but we didn’t like the food at all. The goulash was not at all freshly made. The deer was tough and not easy to eat. We left it as it is. The only thing that was good is the soup. The prices were high so we excepted a better quality. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for freshly made food.

L’ambiente è molto squallido ed i tavoli piccoli non sono sufficienti per due persone. Decisamente non economico, in particolare €6,50 per una bottiglia d’acqua naturale…veramente troppo. Il cibo non è male, ma non degno di nota. Tutto sommato non lo consiglieremmo, ci sono tante alternative.
