We came twice to this restaurant in the past week. The first time we ordered the octopus stew and vegan meal and it tasted nice. The service was also pleasant and good. The second time we came, we ordered the octopus stew again and this time the chicken. Both were oily and didn’t sit well. Hence, I gave a lower tip than the first time, and unlike the first time, the waiter barely said goodbye. I would think twice before coming.

Fabulous place to eat lunch or dinner. Kula had a family run atmosphere to it and our waiter was really pleasant and helpful. The alcohol was reasonably priced too. We shared a meat and cheese platter as a starter, which was exceptional including the olives. These were locally produced and infused with various herbs, as well as a herb brandy. We all had octopus stew for our mains and these were clearly cooked to order and were deliciously tender. All in all this was a great place to eat, and also slightly set back from the promenade and therefore a lot more relaxing than some of the other restaurants situated directly on the waterfront.

They have no interest in their business! Visited 21 May 2025. Made dinner enquiry in afternoon, waiter told us no need to make reservation and recommended their lamb dish. Returned at 7, with 4 other diners to find totally closed!

Bestes Essen in Vis <3 <3 <3 Wir waren mehrmals dort Mittagessen. Es gibt eine kleine Lunch Karte. Wir waren jedes Mal begeistert und werden in Zukunft wiederkommen :)

We had octopus and shrimp salad and lemonade. Perfect for a warm day. The food and service were good, chill day, not busy.
