BEWARE of BEDBUGS. We stayed here in early September 2024 and were eaten alive by bed bugs. I’m an ER physician and can confirm that these are bedbug bites. We checked the mattress and it had evidence of bed bugs- we found rusty/ reddish stains on bed sheets and mattresses, which are caused by bed bugs being crushed. We also found dark spots, which are bed bug excrements. This was room 524. We told the receptionist and she put us in a different room- room 534, which also had bed bug remnants. The mattresses are stained and had pubic hair as well. We asked for a different room other than the 2 rooms offered with the bed bug infestation and they told us there are no other rooms and that they are sold out; however, on booking.com, it showed 6+ rooms available. We then asked for a refund as we cannot stay in a bed bug infested apartment and the receptionist told us that we cannot have a refund even if we don’t use the room. We had to book elsewhere so now we paid €506 to be eaten alive by bed bugs plus what we paid to stay in a different hotel. They did not offer dry cleaning of our clothes, which should have been done after such an infestation. Other cons: The dishwasher did not work, the towels are very cheap and worn, there is very loud music outside the hotel/apartments that goes until midnight, the parking is not next to the hotel but outside the city, which is 20 minute walk uphill. There is a shuttle but it stops at midnight so if you have an early flight- you won’t be able to use it. Pros: AC works well and the location is very central but trust me, this is not worth being bitten by bed bugs and possibly taking these bed bugs home with you. We will have to spend even more money when we get home to disinfect everything properly

Excellent, modern apartment-style hotel. Spacious rooms, freshly renovated. Excellent location right by the marina, close to everything in Piran. The wifi internet was a bit glitchy, but that just forced us to enjoy the location more and stay away from our phones. On one night the bar next door had live music which ended at 11pm. No problem, it was pleasant, but might be disturbing to people who want to sleep early.

Close to shuttle bus stop. In the heart of town. 2 minutes from swimming in the sea. Chilled place to have a holiday in the beautiful port. What's not to like? A heavy metal band playing on Saturday nights. No microwave and the dishwasher is out of service. Difficult to self-cater with two hobs and no oven but there are plenty of good places to eat in town. Great place to stay if you like loud rock music!

Tolle, saubere Unterkunft, jedoch mit Kind aufgrund der lauten Livemusik daneben ein ziemliches No-Go! Im Zimmer ist es unerträglich laut wenn die Nachbar-Bar (unmittelbar darunter) Live Musik hat ( Freitag, Samstag) ohne Kind gern, aber mit Kind werden wir diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen und auch nicht mehr buchen.

Lovely apartment overlooking the sea. Living room/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Windows open for a beautiful breeze. However, the bar below my window has a band playing at night until 1130pm, and it's very, very loud! So if you want to go to sleep earlier, you need noise canceling headphones!!!

Wir waren 2 Nächte zu 4. (Mädlstrip) in der Vila Piranesi. Das Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung. Sauber und groß genug für uns 4. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Hafen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit !

Das Apartment war groß und sauber. Die Ausstattung war über unseren Erwartungen. Sehr modernes Badezimmer inkl. Fön. Das Apartment hatte in Summe 3 Räume: Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer und Wohnküche. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet und man hätte sicher auch gut kochen können. Das Apartment war mit 2 Klimaanlagen ausgestattet - eine im Wohnzimmer und eine im Schlafzimmer. Bei uns war das Parken in einem nahegelegenen Parkhaus inklusive und hat keinen Aufpreis gekostet. Vom Parkhaus fuhr ein kostenloser Shuttle-Bus quasi direkt zum Hotel. Auch eine sehr späte Ankunft war ohne Mehrkosten verbunden. Am Tag nach der Ankunft haben wir im 2. OG mit einer sehr netten Frau den eigentlichen Check-In durchgeführt und wurden auch über Slowenien und Piran informiert. Zudem war die Lage des Apartments absolut zentral von Piran. Wir konnten ohne Probleme mehrmals am Tag noch einmal aufs Zimmer und haben dadurch keine Zeit verloren.
