We viewed the permanent exhibitions here (€8 ticket). The building is absolutely beautiful and worth a visit for that alone. There is great variety spanning over 5 centuries of art. Particularly enjoyed the Zoran Music collection & pieces by Ivan Grohar. It was very quiet on Sunday afternoon so felt like we had the place almost to ourselves

Good collection of local and regional art. On the smaller side, 1.5 hours were enough to explore. We visited on a Thursday in December and there were very few visitors, which was nice.
