Mooie collectie. Ook een deel natuur historisch museum. Zowel het nationaal als deze de moeite waard. Voor beide betalen. Of niet als je slechts 1 deel van het museum wilt bezoeken.

Un museo che fa scoprire la storia di questo paese a partire dalla Prima Guerra mondiale sino ai nostri giorni. Ciò che mi ha tremendamente colpito è stato il modo con cui noi italiani insieme ai tedeschi e agli ungheresi, abbiamo agito per per denazionalizzare e sottomettere questo popolo (soprattutto durante la Seconda Guerra mondiale), usando le armi del terrore, la brutale violenza, le deportazioni e le esecuzioni. Una cosa che mi ha fatto vergognare, anche se io non ero ancora nata.

Very interesting display of the Slovenian history as well as the natural history in the two separate museums. Interesting to see what might be the oldest flute in the world. Worth giving it a couple of hours when you visit Ljubljana.

A really interesting, well laid out introduction to local anthropology stretching over millenia. The bone flute was rather lovely! It would be easy to fill a couple of half days here.

Slovenia has a huge history, including as part of the Roman Empire. It is wonderfully presented, anybody with a bit of curiosity will enjoy it.
