MILK given to a very allergic person!!! After asking for a plant-based option, the barista girl forgot (or didn't listen) the order taken at the counter by the colleague and served the drink with dairy. This ended in a run to the pharmacy for medication because of swollen mouth and throat shortly after, and a holiday weekend ruined. Luckily, I realised after 2 sips that the drink was with dairy milk and the damage was controlled. Attention to the customers' requests, knowledge of the allergens, and proper HACCP learning are the bare minimum in a hospitality business. You can actually hurt or kill people with "distractions" like this...
