Great swimming in front of hotel and really easy to walk the promenade into town and all the restaurants. Our room had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the cleaning staff was so quick with our room. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner barely worked. Yes, it was better than outside, but if we had came when it was hotter, instead of beginning of June, I don’t think it would have been comfortable. But our friends and family we did have three rooms, and one of the rooms it worked great in. Breakfast had a nice selection and a gorgeous patio to eat on. # 4 bus stopped right in front of hotel and was 2.50 euro for one trip and took about 10 minutes to get into old town.

The hotel has lovely views with the most friendly staff that work hard to make your experience the best. The food was amazing with lots of flavour and we loved the dinner although agreed that the deserts could have an improvement but that is being very picky. The exterior of this hotel does not do it justice as it looks outdated from the outside due to the colour of the blinds. It was lovely to have the sea on your doorstep and there was also lovely places to sit and watch the astonishing views.

I enjoyed my stay at the Splendid hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and always ready to assist with all the queries. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed my balcony with the view over Adriatic Sea. The breakfast was also good. The bus stop was a short walk from the hotel hence getting to the Old Town was quite easy.

Bon séjour. Nous avons eu une chambre communicante pour 2, donc pratique pour y mettre les valises :) avec une terrasse. Bonne situation de l'hôtel, juste à coté de l'arrêt de bus. on peut aller dans le centre de lapad à pieds, à moins de 15min. Très belle vue sur la mer. il y a un restaurant buffet le soir (que nous n'avons pas essayé) et un restaurant en bas de l'hôtel qui donne sur la mer qui est très bien. Uniquement en extérieur. Personnel aux petits soins. Literie très bonne. Ménage tous les jours. Petit déjeuner complet. Chambre mériterait une rénovation surtout la salle bain. Quelques mouches etc, la porte de la douche qui ne ferme pas, lavabo très bas, odeurs. Manque des transats (uniquement 5 ou 6).

Actually really liked this hotel for our first night in Croatia. A transport into the luxury side of Soviet era hospitality with 60s architecture and furnishings to match. Not sure I’d want to stay for an extended period though. Location is quiet with beach access directly from the hotel.

Great hotel, very clean, helpful staff, great views pay for a sea view room, room has hairdryer, breakfast is continental , evening meal wasn’t for us, depends what you like , plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 min walk, you can drink the local water so take an empty water bottle and fill up, local bus easy to use get on number 4, 50 metres down the road from hotel it will take you to old town, Ubers are cheaper than local taxis, plan your trips on the daily weather forecast, if it’s windy the cable car, and stuff at top of the hill are closed and some of the boat trip ls island hopping are too. Worth paying for the game of thrones tour if you’re a fan, we found the big scene spots ourselves but the tour guide told us all sorts. |The Dubrovnik pass is worth buying 3 day 50 euros and includes local buses, and some sites including the wall which on its own is 40 euro. Do the wall first thing before it gets hot and the cruise ships arrive . Food and drink twice the price inside the old town, in comparison to local supermarkets and bakery,

Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel war alles sehr angenehm und sauber. Die Speisekarte im Hotelrestaurant war recht klein aber preislich deutlich günstiger als andere Restaurants. Insgesamt muss man mit min. 20% höheren Preisen rechnen als in Deutschland.
