Attitude and service today was severely lacking compared to previous days. The chef we were told was “angry” at my request to remove the bread from a dish because I am gluten intolerant despite it having been possible the previous day. The ensuing order (chips for me and another dish for my husband) was forgotten despite my niece and husband receiving their part of the same order. We waited for nearly an hour and reminded them no less than twice. What a disappointing approach from staff at a decent hotel.

We’ve made a few visits to this great bar this week all was really great apart from From today where the chef was angry when one of the group wanted to order a gluten-free salmon option and was apparently bad news for the chef as the server told us he was angry with this request and would not do it. We then had to re-order our food three times before it eventually came probably an hour later in the end when we ask for the bill And we asked to split between the two families the server Simply said no. Having worked in the hospitality industry for 14 years, this is very disappointing to see and many improvements to be made considering this is the start of the summer.

Certainly, one of the more interesting places to have a drink! We opted to have a few pre-dinner cocktails inside the cave to cool off. Sat at the bar and very much enjoyed our drinks. Drink quality is good; however, the bartenders were not very engaging with us. Sometimes a little bit of small talk helps with the overall experience. Overall, a fun place to go. Note that this is in the western part of town in Lapad. We Ubered close by from near Old Town to see a different part of Dubrovnik which we also liked very much. Views of the water from the bar area outside are stunning. The walk along the promenade and pedestrian zone is also lovely.

Would really recommend
Loungers are owned by the hotel so can’t be used by public unless your willing to pay €70 per bed.
Very chill and comfortable atmosphere
All staff have perfect English and are very polite so great for tourists.
Great non alcoholic cocktails menu.
Prices are high but as expected in Croatia and in a beach bar.
Food I would recommend spring rolls very tasty and chips
Would not recommend the burger, overdone and dry and the bun is not very tasty.

Highly recommend visiting if you can.
Excellent location and unbeatable views at the waterfront. Has a classy vibe, but still is a tad expensive for the product.

I stopped in for lunch and ordered the signature Cave Burger, and it genuinely ranks among the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. The patty was juicy, the toppings well balanced, and the toasted bun held everything together perfectly. At roughly €15, it is on the pricier side, but the flavour and quality make it worthwhile. Drinks sit in the same price range.
What truly sets Cave Bar More apart is the setting. The bar is carved into a natural seaside cave, so while you eat you can admire the rock formations that have taken millennia to form. If you prefer fresh air, an outdoor deck overlooks the Adriatic; just be prepared for waves that occasionally splash the seating area. Pack a swimsuit and you can hop straight into the water after your meal.
Between the exceptional burger and the one-of-a-kind location, Cave Bar More delivered a memorable dining experience I’d happily repeat.
