Zanimiv muzej, spomini na začetke računalništva pri nas ..,

A very interesting museum with a lot of attention to little details. Their collection is impressive and should evoke a lot of memories in those of us who grew up with computers in 80th and 90th. Even though there are a few bugs, they do accept reports. I hope they'll fix one with Kotlin to make people at JetBrains a little happier 🤞 All in all, it's a must-go-place for all geeks and nerds visiting Ljubljana.

Top muzej! Razstavljenih imajo ogromno računalnikov in konzol od samega začetka obstoja, vsi pa so tudi delujoči in interaktivni. Igraš lahko ogromno računalniških iger, Hugo, Princ of Persia, Deluxe Ski Jump... Prijazno osebje, prijetno vzdušje in ogromno zabave za vso družino in vse generacije.

Museum curators typically try to tell a story. In this case the story is: "we have a few exhibits and volunteers and we don't know how to tie them into a coherent exhibition". They placed a star exhibit (Triglav computer) so that it's only visible from outside (and testing how old plastic is affected by UV). If you want to know something about the exhibit you need to google it (and in a few cases with missing designation that is impossible to do). I wanted to like this museum, but in state that is was at the time of my visit, it's only despondent. Perhaps it's work in progress, but if that is the case, why charge the (exorbitant for what you get) entry fee?
