Uvod
Vina Benčina se nahaja v slikoviti vasi Lože, ki leži v zgornji Vipavski dolini. Ta mala vasica je znana po svoji bogati vinogradniški tradiciji, kjer se življenje vrti okoli kakovostnega vina in medu. Kmetija Benčina je pravo mesto za vse ljubitelje vin, ki želijo okusiti pravo esenco Vipavske doline.
Naša zgodba
Lastnik kmetije, Dušan Benčina, je že kot mlad fant prevzel skrb za družinsko kmetijo. Njegova strast do vinogradništva ga je vodila k pridelavi vrhunskih vin, ki izražajo trud, znanje in ljubezen do narave. Dušan verjame, da vsaka kapljica vina nosi zgodbo in čarobnost soncem obsijanih vinogradov.
Degustacije
V naši kleti ponujamo degustacijo različnih sort vin, med katerimi so sauvignon, chardonnay, rebula, pinela, laški rizling, modri pino, Benčinovo rdeče in cabernet. Degustacije so primerne za skupine do 50 ljudi, zaželena je predhodna najava, zato vas vabimo, da nas kontaktirate in si zagotovite svoj termin.

Zonder afspraak een heel uitgebreide rondleiding gekregen in de wijngaard. De tasting was fantastisch, heel veel wijntjes geproefd en tal van lekkere hapjes erbij. Je betaalt wel 35 euro per persoon maar het is het zeker waard.

Une superbe expérience comme nous ne l'avions aucunement prévu! Nous sommes arrivés par un beau dimanche matin à l'improviste sans rendez-vous et les Bencina nous on très bien accueilli. Une belle visite de leur installation et une dégustation de leurs produits = super. Nous avons aussi goûter des plats typiques du pays! Une expérience que nous ramenons dans notre pays avec plaisir! Même les enfants ont eu du plaisir pendant la visite. Je conseil l'expérience!

Great experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We arranged a last minute appointment to visit the winery on Saturday afternoon: they hosted in the best way as possible. They have a "magic" red wine funtain that is really funny to see, but good to taste 😉 Then we tasted all the wines they produce, both from stainless steel containers and wood barriques. What we didn't expect was the amount of delicious food they prepared for us. By the way: great wines and our favourites were Pinot Noir and Barbera (really....great Barbera!!!). They have a good balance among grape variety and wood taste. We warmly suggest to contact them and taste their products.

Our visit to the Benčina family's winery was certainly the highest point of our stay in the delightful Vipava Valley! M. Dušan and his wife are very welcoming and eager to share the most of tastes and histories/details about the making of wine. A large range of different refined wines (including local vine type) and cognac are offered for tasting with local appetizers and tasty cold cuts (pršut). Definitely an unmissable place. It is advisable to give a quick call ahead of coming.

Amazing little family run farm. We took a tour in the cellars, learned of the origins and history of the farm, shared fresh and bottled wine and cognac with the family as they told us stories of the farm and showed us a great little video of the process and he’d work that goes into each bottle of wine.

Wonderful service! Had a very cozy wine tasting where we moved through the estate trying wines in different rooms. Additionally the wines are paired with great hors d oeuvres and sliced meats. All togeather a wonderful time!

We had a great time with Daria , who is a very friendly and hospitable person. During our visit , we tasted several types of wine paired with a plate of fresh bread, cheese , prosciutto and delicious, homemade dishes . A truly unforgettable experience you won’t regret!

Wonderful hosts with no limitation to try any of the wines. With years of experience and family tradition, these wines are a gem! They did their absolute best to speak English and were very accommodating as it’s hard to just show up to a winery in this area. We had a great time visiting Bencina Winery. Our host, Darja, was a lot of fun, the family-run cellar where they produce the wine was interesting and most importantly the wine was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend.

The winemaker and his wife were so welcoming and friendly! We had so many wines, some of them straight from the tanks or the amphora. We had homemade snacks and the full story of the family, the wines and the winery. Make sure to not be in a rush, but it is worth spending your time in the cellar and the shop. It was so warm and personal, not your average tasting. We will not forgot this one and drink the wines we bought with a smile on our faces everytime.

Very welcoming tour, beautiful place and excellent wines, including from an “amphora” - ie a qveri like in Georgia. Thoroughly recommend!
