What an absolute gem of a place. The staff were lovely and the lady explained to us how the wine bar has been in the family for 400 years and even shown us the cellar. The wine they make is very good and it's a great place to chill opposite the harbour

Fabulous winery on the waterfront - incredibly friendly and generous staff, passing on a bit of their family wine history and knowledge, serving great-tasting wines and platters in a relaxed atmosphere (love a bit of 90s/00s tunes of an afternoon!). Seek this place out, it's a gem!

Me and my partner were in Dubrovnik for 7 days, and by far the best experience of the holiday was this family owned winery. We were greeted with big smiles and friendly conversation. We tried their flights of wine, 4 different wines made in house and between each wine, they would explain how it was made. We were then given a tour of the area where it is made. Such a wonderful experience, that we ended up going back there 4 times. Their charcuterie board with meat and cheese was also delicious and complimented the wine perfectly. My partner does not like red wine, but the red from Skar was the first time she enjoyed a red! Would highly recommend

Absolutely lovely family-owned winery with great story. Our hostess Laura could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. The owner's wife also was quite knowledgeable and a friendly. We had a bottle of the aged red and it was outstanding!!! We also got the cheese platter and sat outside. Highly recommended.

Nous avons eu mon conjoint un accueil extraordinaire accompagné d’une présentation du lieu et de l’entreprise familiale. Nous recommandons vivement à 1000% si vous passez sur Dubrovnik cela vaut le détour. Nous avons adoré les vins surtout le rouge avec la petite planche de charcuterie ! Tout était génial ! Le lieu également très propre et bien placé face au port. Merci mille fois pour ce bel accueil 🥰

I was fortunate to come across Skar Winery on a solo trip to Dubrovnik. The staff there were terrific and offered me a lovely fruit and cheese platter with my wine selection. I was touched by the simple things that they did. Being that I was traveling alone and noticing that the flight of wines were quite generous, they offered me the chance to return the next day to finish my flight. I was so grateful and also much in love with their vintage, that I ordered a case to be sent home to NYC on the spot. Mato, was so patient and helpful in getting my wine delivered to me despite difficulties with mailing. He went as far as to reattempt delivery to my home and was generous in his patience and attempts to make sure that my case was delivered to my doorstep. Businesses like these are not easy to forget! They know what it means to put the customer first! I hope when I return to Dubrovnik, I will have a chance at Skar Winery again! Many thanks and much success to Lekri wines - some of the finest I’ve had.

Authentic atmosphere, friendly service with staff who are welcoming and eager to share stories about food and drinks, with delicious platters of cheese, meats, olives and pates, local wines and cocktails ... lovely night out!
