About the Tour
The Putalj Wine Tour is a full-service experience that includes convenient pickup and drop-off at a central meeting point in Split. Our tours run only once a day, offering you the opportunity to enjoy the vineyard during the cooler afternoon hours and catch breathtaking sunset views while sipping on glass of rosé.
We maintain a small group size of 2 to approximately 10 guests, ensuring a personalized and inviting atmosphere. This intimate setting allows for meaningful connections with fellow wine lovers and a closer engagement with the winemakers themselves. Reservations are required for this exclusive tour experience, as walk-in tastings are not available.
What’s Included
The Putalj Wine Tour provides you with a comprehensive insight into the winemaking process, from vineyard work to cellar techniques. During the tour, you will enjoy:

Pricing and Booking
The full price for the Putalj Wine Tour is 130 euros per person, which includes a reservation deposit of 30 euros due at the time of booking. The balance can be settled at the winery after the tour.

The best wine tour I have ever been to! The family is extremely nice and accommodating, the wine and food are unlimited, and the price is very good for everything you get (free 30 min shuttle to and from Split, all you can eat cheese/bread/meat, all you can drink wine, 2-3 hour vineyard and production site tour, etc)! I would reccomend anyone in visiting split to take this tour, it superseded my expectation!

You NEED to take the wine tour here! My husband and I did the tour which included the history of the winery, exploring around the winery, a tour of the production room and tasting room. The food and wine was absolutely delicious so I'm glad it was unlimited! The staff was also extremely nice and personable- this was one of my favorite things we did in Croatia!

Best Wine tasting experience ever ! Anton the owner and wine maker is so knowledgeable and passionate about is work. The wine, the view and the people are amazing. We were only four to attend this semi private tasting. It was great. They provide transport from the city. Highly recommand this place.

We had the chance to enjoy a private tour of the vineyard and it completely exceeded our expectations. The owners were absolutely lovely, passionate, and generous. A Perfect Evening at Putalj Wine – A Must-Do in Split! Our tour with Putalj Wine was an unforgettable highlight of our trip to Split. Everything was organized seamlessly, starting with a 6pm pickup directly from Split Old Town—courtesy of the winery. The experience began atop a picturesque mountain at the vineyard itself, offering stunning views and an authentic introduction to Croatian wine. Our hosts, Tea and Nikolina, were warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. They shared the history of Putalj Wine and Croatian wine culture while we enjoyed an entire bottle of refreshing rosé paired with local bread and cheese. We had plenty of time—about an hour—to explore the vineyard, take photos, and soak in the beautiful scenery. The tour then moved to the charming village where Putalj's wine is produced. Tea guided us through their small-scale, fully manual winemaking process, which added a unique and personal touch to the experience. We sampled two delicious red wines (Zinfandel & Plavac Mali) before heading into a cozy side room for a spread of local cheeses, olives, and prosciutto—plenty of food, with more available upon request. To top it all off, we were allowed to choose our favorite wine to enjoy more of, and Tea kindly corked any unfinished bottles for us to take home. The evening ended with a comfortable ride back to Split, again organized by the winery. From start to finish, the hospitality was exceptional. This tour offers more than just wine tasting—it’s an immersive, personal, and authentic Croatian experience. If you’re in the Split region, don’t miss it!

10/10 experience. They pick you up from split and it’s about 20 mins out of the city. its a private family owned winery and you get a lovely tour of the place. first you enjoy wine and cheese with the sunset and then they take you to the barrels. You get to socialize with others too and it was a fun experience
