Incredibly picturesque, charming, and romantic. The views are stunning from every corner. The old town is filled with narrow, colorful streets, and every corner feels magical. Easily one of the loveliest places in all of Croatia!

Tot nu toe het mooiste stadje wat ik heb gezien. Geweldige straatjes met winkeltjes en eet en drink gelegenheden. Heb ook nog de kerktoren beklomen met 189 treden, was net optijd beneden voor de kerkklokken gingen luiden.

The old town of Rovinj is truly magical, an absolute masterpiece. The views are breathtaking, and it’s hard to take your eyes off the beauty that surrounds you. From the colorful shops and charming cafés to the narrow alleys that open directly onto the clear blue water, every part of Rovinj feels like a dream. As you walk uphill toward the church, you’ll find yourself stopping at almost every corner. Each alley tempts you to sit down and spend the rest of your day there, soaking it all in. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants offering stunning views where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. One thing I truly appreciated was the kindness of the local people. While walking around, I stopped by a few restaurants to ask if I could use their restroom and every time, they welcomed me without hesitation. It’s those little gestures that make Rovinj not just beautiful, but also warm and inviting.
