Osejava Viewpoint – What a Spot! While staying in Makarska, I decided to take a walk to the Osejava Viewpoint — and I’m so glad I did. The view is absolutely stunning. You get this wide-open look over the sparkling Adriatic Sea with the dramatic Biokovo mountains in the background. I went around sunset, and the colors were just unreal. What surprised me most was how peaceful it was. No crowds, just the sound of waves, birds, and a light breeze through the trees. And the best part? It’s just a short walk from the town center. If you're into photography, definitely bring your phone or camera. The lighting is perfect, and every direction feels like a ready-made postcard. I stopped for a while just to take it all in. Quick tip: wear decent shoes – the path is a bit rocky – and bring some water if it’s hot out. All in all, this place felt like a little escape. Nothing fancy, just nature at its best. If you’re in Makarska, don’t skip it. Totally worth it.
