We were very pleased with choosing Laus Travel for a day trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a market with so many agencies to choose from, I can now say that Laus does indeed deserve the overwhelming number of accolades they receive. The positive experience began well before we arrived in Croatia during the planning process. Praise to Ivo for his responsiveness and patience with my many questions. We booked a private tour for four of us to visit the Kravica Waterfalls and Mostar. Our driver Novak met us near our Airbnb in a nice size comfortable van. Ivo also was there to introduce himself and make sure everything was okay. Novak is a very competent and friendly driver; during the ride to Bosnia and Herzegovina he explained much of what we were seeing and the history of this area. Being a private tour, Novak was extremely flexible in the amount of time we were able to spend at each stop. I was able to communicate with him and Ivo easily via WhatsApp or email. After the trip, we inadvertently left a few personal items in the van; Ivo proactively notified us and brought them to us! Without hesitation, I would again use Laus Travel if traveling to Dubrovnik again.

Our tour to Kravice Waterfalls and Mostar was absolutely excellent. The entire experience was well-organized and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide, Novak, was outstanding—he was not only highly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region, but also incredibly patient and accommodating throughout the day. He answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. The transportation was also top-notch. We traveled in a very comfortable and clean van, which made the journey smooth and relaxing and enhanced the overall experience. Both Kravice Waterfalls and Mostar were breathtaking destinations, and we had ample time to explore, take photos, and soak in the natural beauty and historic charm. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to discover the highlights of Bosnia and Herzegovina in comfort and with a great guide.

The visit to Mostar and Kravica exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Marko was an incredible guide with so much knowledge of history and a compelling local perspective as someone who is from Mostar. He was a delight, and the day would not have been nearly as fabulous without his insight. Border crossing was a breeze in our small vehicle and group of seven visitors. I’ve read it can take much longer on a tour bus, another reason to go for the small group option (not to mention more personalized and intimate). The waterfalls were magnificent and rather peaceful as we arrived in the morning before the crowds and tour buses. Marko shared what it was like visiting them in his youth…completely different as it was just a place for locals. Mostar took my breath away. It’s a fascinating mix of culture and ethnicities/religions with visible signs of the war that ended relatively recently. We had a solid three hours to explore, which was a decent amount of time to visit the Old Bridge and historic part of town. I bought some modern art and wandered across the famous, reconstructed bridge and beyond the Old Town where I found a delightful wine tasting room. Pay a visit to Via Vino - the wines were surprisingly good, and Enra who serves them is a delight. She recommended Hindin Han for a Bosnian lunch, and it was excellent, along with a view of the river from the terrace. Marko’s dad is brewmaster of the local beer…give it a try as it’s very tasty! It was my first time visiting a country that was at war in my lifetime, and it was a day very well spent that I will never forget. Thank you for a magical day, Marko!

We went to Kraviche waterfalls and Mostar with Laus Travel. The pickup was on time at the scheduled location. We first traveled around 3 hours per bus to Kravica. It was quite a long sit in the bus so early in the morning. We had some time to visit the waterfalls and to drink something. The amount of time was perfect. It was not to long and not to short so this was perfect. Then we spent a bit more than an hour travelling towards Mostar. Our guide did a good job on telling us some information about Kravica and Mostar. Exploring around was up to you to stick to the guide or to explore on your own. We choose to have lunch with the guid and he did manage to get a special deal at the restaurant. When we visited Mostar we went back for a long drive, however we were pleasantly suprised that we stopped halfway at a winery to drink some very nice and tasty wines with a perfect view on the sea! For Kravica and Mostar. It is nice that this tour combines it. At Kravica you spend 30-60 minutes and Mostar 1 or 2 hours and then you have visited everything both places had to offer. For Mostar we expected a bit more, but in reality it is just one shopping street with some old shops and an old bridge to cross. We definitily recommend Laus Travel if you want to do some excursions when you are in Dubrovnik!
