As a local who enjoys peaceful walks, I appreciated the raw, untouched nature along the trail — it’s nicely insulated from the usual crowds and noise, which lets you truly focus on the walk.
That said, tick protection is essential. My dog picked up ten of them in just two hours.
Unfortunately, the top of Avala feels more like a marketplace than a natural escape, with very little content to justify the climb if you’re looking for quiet or scenic value.
