Loved it! Had interacted with the Black and White ruffed lemurs that are endangered species from Madagascar! The 2 little brothers were absolutely amazing and so friendly!! 5 stars and even more to Mary at the ticket box office that after a few phone calls to her team, made an exception for me that haven’t booked this experience in advance and got it right on the spot! Thank you Mary, you are absolutely wonderful!You need to prebook if you want an intimate experience with some of the animals weeks in advance. The zoo park itself has a lot of animals to see and enjoy. Not enough staff unfortunately but they all work hard and they are really friendly! I definitely recommend to visit this zoo if you have time to Ljubljana. Worths it!

Schöner Tiergarten. Tiere können von ganz in der Nähe beobachtet werden. Meine Enkerl waren begeistert direkt neben den Löwen zu stehen.

Sehr schöner Zoo mit einem Rundgang durch den Wald, ideal für Kinder. Großer Spielplatz und nette Leute. Da kann sich Österreich mit den Preisen wieder mal eine Scheibe abschneiden! Bevor ich mein Geld nach Wien trage, fahre ich lieber noch einmal hier hin.

Positiv: - Viel Natur - Schöne Wege (kinderwagentauglich) - geniale Spielplätze!! - Mitarbeiter sprechen Deutsch oder Englisch - Eintrittspreise ok - Von der Gastro darf man sich nicht sonderlich viel erwarten, dann ist es ok. Negativ: - Informationen nur in Slowenisch - Gehege großteils viiiel zu klein, sodass so manche Tiere Stereotypien entwickelt haben (Affen beschmieren Wände mit Kot und fressen den dann) - Eule oben kann nichtmal fliegen, weil das Gehege so niedrig ist - Voglieren sind maximal 3m hoch und ebenso viel zu klein, was ich nicht verstehen kann, da noch soooo viel Platz frei wäre! - Im Winter haben die Tiere dann garkeinen Platz mehr. Ich komme nicht wieder. Bin immernoch sehr traurig. Vielleicht möchte das der Zoo aber auch aufklären? Bin gespannt.
