Had dumplings for takeout as we arrived late close to closing, heated it up the next day and it was still amazing! Tried the sweet dumplings and the sauces for each dumpling paired really well with each other 👍😁

The Dumpling House’s mushroom soup is a 5 star, delicious! The buckwheat spoon bread, my first time, was very tasty. I added it to the soup. The raspberry chocolate dumpling was not my favorite due to it‘s mushy texture and high sweetness. This was my first Slovenian dumpling. But this restaurant offers an extensive variety of savory and sweet dumplings…“fresh cooked and backed dumplings from stretched, yeast, leafy-yeast, whole wheat or buckwheat dough with various fillings.“ I would go back to enjoy the homemade soup and try a different dumpling. The outdoor tables are quite pleasant in a walking area not far from the river in the city‘s center.

Heart warming soup, delicious! chocolate and orange dumpling was really good too and it’s warm! Nine euros for soup/stew & dumplings at lunch time, great value. Always full. Pretty friendly staff, quick service.

We started with a salty one - the cottage and the meat. They were tasty. Then we took the pistachio and raspberry one as dessert and it was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!! The mango spicy smoothie also was fresh and tasty.

Got ignored when all i wanted was to pay, waited 30 minutes just to pay for a drink, kind of sucked but i guess you love having your time taken away for no reason... And it's not even about them being busy, the waiter definitely did have time to chat for 10 minutes with the guy in the next table.
