Been a regular guest here for years (every month or 2 months visit). Last year the quality of food felt under every level, waiters are real bad, reservated table isn't ready when you arrive, they clean some other table that you reserved, so you wait a long time. Last 3 visits, were extra bad, potatoes either not well cooked or cold, calamari cold, on the plate for 2 persons are every time different tastes so they must change chefs all the time.. Today it was the last visit and won't go there again. We didn't even eat because the director personally almost screaming at me, that he doesn't have enough waiters, they are all new aso.. so we left. Shame for place like this in very centre of Maribor where we used too eat good food felt deep below average. (But the prices are rising)

Are you in the mood for sea-food but there is no ocean nearby? Fear not, Novi Svet has got you covered. By far one of the best places to eat in Maribor. Now honestly it's not the cheapest but the quallity makes up for it. Everything I got was top of the line sea-food and all the other entrees were spectacular. Even the soups were sublime on their own. The staff is helpful and kind, whilst the owner is a man indulged in knowledge of the food he serves so you know you're in good hands. Do give them a try.
