There are meals you eat, and then there are meals that stay with you — that nourish something deeper than hunger. Tonight, I found that rare experience at this beautiful little sushi restaurant. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt something different. It wasn’t just the warm lighting or the gentle hum of conversation — it was the soul. You can taste it in every dish. Each piece of sushi was a tiny work of art, crafted with the kind of care that only comes from deep love for the craft. The rice was warm and seasoned perfectly, the fish impossibly fresh — like it had been caught just moments before. But it was more than that. There was balance, grace, humility. Nothing was showy. Everything was right. The chef — perhaps the owner — stood behind the counter with quiet pride, not seeking praise, just watching carefully as guests tasted his food. And I wish I could’ve told him in that moment: “This… this is what food is supposed to be.” It’s tradition and innovation dancing together. It’s respect for ingredients, and reverence for the people who eat them. By the end of the meal, I felt genuinely moved — not just full, but grateful. Grateful to have found this place. Grateful to be reminded that food, when made with heart, can connect us — to culture, to craft, to one another. If you have the chance to dine here, take it. Come with someone you love, or by yourself if you need comfort. Either way, you’ll leave with more than you came for. Thank you, chef. Truly. You’ve created something beautiful.

Restaurant ist ok. Essen schmeckt. All you can eat ist sehr langwierig. Kein Buffet. Man sucht aus der Karte aus. Notiert die Nummern auf einen Zettel und dann wird irgendwann mal serviert. Zwischen den einzelnen Bestellungen lange Wartezeiten. Kleiner Tipp. Viel auf einmal für alle bestellen. Sonst setzt die Sättigung zu schnell ein und dann ist es das Geld nicht wert.

Teleurstellende ervaring – slechte sushi en matige service We kozen hier voor all you can eat, maar het viel zwaar tegen. De sushi was van lage kwaliteit: de rijst was veel te plakkerig en niet luchtig, en de vis smaakte niet vers. Alles proefde vlak en afgeraffeld. Voor ons kind hadden we kipnuggets met friet besteld. Na meer dan een uur wachten kreeg hij alleen drie kipnuggets – de friet kwam simpelweg niet. Geen uitleg, geen excuses. Echt teleurstellend, zeker als je met een kind aan tafel zit. De bediening hielp ook niet mee. Onze serveerster kwam ongeïnteresseerd en ongemotiveerd over. Geen glimlach, geen betrokkenheid – we voelden ons totaal niet welkom. Ze moet echt even een cursus klantvriendelijkheid krijgen, of een ander beroep zoeken. Al met al een slechte ervaring. All you can eat hoeft geen fine dining te zijn, maar dit was gewoon slordig en onprofessioneel. Wij komen hier niet terug.

Geen verse vis op de rauwe sushi. Zat een rare smaak aan ondanks dat dit een havenstad is, verwacht je wel verse vis... Daarnaast hadden we de "Shizzling scampi" gepakt.. op foto leek het alsof we vooral scampi kregen maar we hadden hooguit 5 scampis en de schotel lag vol gegrilde groenten (terwijl deze niet zichtbaar waren op de foto om te bestellen). De gefrituurde snacks waren wel lekker maar dat is ook het enige. Jammer! Hier komen we helaas niet meer terug.

Самое лучшее заведение, которое мы посетили за неделю проведенную в Хорватии! Очень вкусно! Большой выбор блюд в меню, цены не высокие. Есть опция “all your can eat”. Замечательный хозяин! Гостеприимство на высшем уровне!!! Чисто, хорошая гигиена, использованная посуда очень быстро убиралась со стола! С удовольствием вернусь сюда еще, если буду в Хорватии!
