Shambala je več kot azijska restavracija. Razlog za to se verjetno skriva v dejstvu, da pripravljamo najboljši tajski curry v mestu, delno pa tudi v tem, da smo mojstri povezovanja okusov. Nekatere naše jedi so zato pristno in tradicionalno azijske, druge pa lahko imenujemo ‘fusion’ (čeprav nam ta beseda sploh ni všeč, a boljše zaenkrat še nismo našli).

Amazing to be transferred to Thailand for an evening. Up until two years I used to spend a couple of weeks every year in Thailand. I have been missing the real taste of Thailand ever since. Found it again here. Food (Bali chicken for a starter and green curry for main) was to die for Only thing that put a dent was the dessert that was recommended but wasn't to my liking Still this food deserves 5 stars Real Thai food right here in Ljubljana If you like Thai food this is a must visit If you never tried it is about time you do (just stay clear of the really spicy stuff on your 1st encounter)

Yummy asian food, can make many meals vegan. Totally impressed, ingredients are fresh and seasonal. Staff extremely kind. Go here for special moments.

This was my 15+ time at Shambala, but first time solo. Must say that, the restaurant never disappointed. The food is nicely prepared, presented and savory. The menu changes and if you come here as I do every few months, you can try new things. The taste of food is quite different, so you don't end up, like in the low budget options with all Asian food tasting the same. I recommend the curry, and play around also with the appetizers. You can get by with cheaper options in Ljubljana, which doesn't mean you should. I Recommend it for occasional visit with a partner and especially in warmer periods as they have a nice terrace.
