Our 3rd day here in Dubrovnik and unfortunately the dining experience didn’t match the cost. The staff, service and location are great but the food doesn’t quite hit the high standards we were expecting, especially considering what’s on offer from other restaurants only a stones throw away.

Super Ambient. Sehr freundliche Bedienung die mit allem entgegenkommt was man braucht oder an Wünschen hat. Vorspeisen (Tuna tartar, Tintenfischsalat, Gamberi vom Grill) sehr zu empfehlen- sehr, sehr lecker. Hauptschpeise ( Fischplatte, Kalbsbacken) traumhaft. Posjetili smo Il Vento na Lapadskoj obali u Dubrovniku, na večeri od 21:00 do 23:30. Atmosfera je bila opuštena, ali elegantna, uz prekrasan pogled na marinu i brodove. Prostor je suvremen i prozračan, idealan za ugodno druženje i dužu večer. Od predjela smo uživali u hladnoj i toploj selekciji, a riblja plata s dnevnim ulovom – škarpinom – bila je sveža, lijepo servirana i izuzetno ukusna. Teleći obrazi su bili nježni, gotovo se raspadali, a pizza i burger – savršeno pečeni i dobro začinjeni. Za desert – kolač od pistacije – dobili smo pravu slatku poslasticu, kremastu i ravnotežno slatku. Kokteli su bili osvježavajući, kreirani s pažnjom, a vino Sauvignon dobro je pratilo riblje i mesne okuse. Posebna pohvala vrhunskom spoju vina i jela. Vrlo susretljivo, profesionalno i pažljivo osoblje dodatno je upotpunilo cijeli doživljaj. Il Vento nas je oduševio na svim razinama – ambijent, okus, prezentacija, usluga. Ako tražite vrhunski restoran s mediteranskom kuhinjom, lijepim pogledom, opuštenom atmosferom, Il Vento je pravi izbor. Toplo preporučujemo i jedva čekamo ponovno svratiti!

Restaurant & Bar IL VENTO was a pleasant surprise on a quiet early evening. At about 5 p.m. the dining room was still empty, yet the atmosphere felt inviting rather than lifeless. Our waiter greeted us warmly, took a genuine interest in where we were visiting from, and offered thoughtful menu suggestions. I sampled Croatian seafood for the first time with the Mare pizza, topped with shrimp and anchovies. The flavours shone through the crisp, lightly charred crust. The shrimp were a touch firm from the bake, but the overall balance of salty anchovies and fresh herbs more than made up for it. The kitchen clearly favours local ingredients, and the presentation matched the restaurant’s upscale vibe. IL VENTO usually offers a daily catch at roughly €9 per 100 g, though it wasn’t available during my visit. The staff were quick to recommend alternatives without any upselling pressure, which I appreciated. Friendly service, quality local seafood, and a refined yet comfortable setting make IL VENTO well worth a visit -- especially for anyone eager to explore Croatian coastal cuisine. I’ll gladly return to try that catch of the day next time.

Le service est catastrophique. Il n'y a aucune organisation entre les cuisines et les serveurs (qui malheureusement pour eux, sont peu nombreux, et font ce qu'ils peuvent) La partie terrasse du restaurant est sous une bouche d'aération des cuisines. L'odeur de gras est insupportable. C'est bien dommage car l'emplacement est top.

L’un des plus beaux rooftops de Croatie. Le panorama est époustouflant, particulièrement au coucher du soleil. Les cocktails sont raffinés, et pouvoir en profiter depuis la piscine apporte une touche d’originalité très appréciable. Un vrai coup de cœur pour leur virgin piña colada : parfaitement équilibrée et ultra rafraîchissante. Un lieu incontournable à Dubrovnik.

Un serveur très gentil, nous avions Nicolas qui est très serviable, vraiment gentil et à l’écoute, la salade césar est pas très copieuse cependant la salade grecque est bonne et assez copieuse, la pizza avec les champignons étaient très bonne et assez copieuse, les cocktails sont très bons et biens présentés, et les bières sont très biens. Prix un peu chers mais l’ambiance est très chouette.

We were looking for something to eat for lunch after coming back from the Old town, it was hot and we were a little grumpy from dealing with crowds and the heat, this was handy and we had no expectations whatsoever we just wanted to sit by the marina where it was a little cooler. We ordered a pizza and a Greek salad to share between two, there was no issue with sharing, most importantly I needed some cold water and my partner a long cold beer and that came quickly, service was friendly, relaxed and efficient so we were able to relax and calm ourselves. I had no expectations of the food, given the location and this was our first meal out and first time to Dubrovnik we could tell it was very touristy however the pizza was delicious, lovely crisp thin base nice tasty topping and the salad was freshly made and really delicious. Both of us really enjoyed our meal and the time we spent here. We came back and had another meal this time we shared the squid and it was some of the best squid we've eaten so tender and met in the mouth. This place looks really more like a bar but we were impressed with the quality of the food.

This place was Allright place to visit after than walked from the old town down to the sea front of Dubrovnik. But I accepted more of the food than that I get it was a traditional pizza. It was Allright place if you want to sit with all the boats. But around the area is better place to visit.
