We went to Konoba Varoš for dinner. To begin with, since we are here on business and need receipts for reimbursements, we asked the waiter if it would be possible to have separate accounts given our need. After being assured that it would be possible, we sat down. Needless to say, we were eventually told that this was not possible and we had to pay the whole bill in one lump sum, which is a problem for us. Also, we had the pastikada, and the meat was tough. If it were possible to give zero stars, we would have done so.

這裡原本不在我們的用餐名單，是個當地的taxi driver推薦的。點了兩盤墨魚燉飯，米沒有熟，太硬難嚼，跟服務生反映後重做兩盤，上來後的飯雖然沒有第一次的硬，但是還是沒有熟，口味也差（墨魚有酸味），即便很餓，吃了幾口就不吃了。牛肉清湯、奶油蝦湯更是不值得，風味義大利麵也只能算是一般口味。不要踩雷。

Il cibo era abbastanza buono (eravamo in tre e abbiamo preso due risotti e un fritto di pesce, 2 acqua e 1 calice di vino) ma abbiamo chiesto di poter pagare separatamente e ci è stato negato! Avevamo necessità di avere scontrini separati ma non c'è stato nulla da fare, secondo loro avremmo dovuto chiederlo appena entrati. Ovviamente lo abbiamo chiesto a fine pasto ma PRIMA che lo scontrino fosse emesso! Non sono stati cordiali ma piuttosto arroganti. L'ambiente nulla di ché, il prezzo abbastanza alto. Peccato!

We had Pašticada and ćevapčići with butter rice and vegetables. Food was nice, especially the ćevapčići. Service was reasonable (they dont speak perfect English, but why must they?). Price slightly high, but about the same as their peers along the same street. All was well!

Only reason for 3* for service is that the woman who served was rude, made us wait and then refused to give the table and my friends went away looking for another restaurant because of her disgusting attitude but the man who came later offered the table.
I also noted she offered a table for white customers with a smile and right away in front of me.
May be she having a bad day or may be it’s a subtle manifestation of racism
I didn’t pay her any tip in spite of my friends asking me to because as tourists we were made to feel disrespected!
May be I am hard on her and may be it’s a busy day for her or maybe she has personal problems but we four didn’t say anything to upset her during the entire process.

Malísimo servicio. Esperamos la cola para sentarnos a cenar y delante nuestra pasa una pareja local croata sin reserva y el camarero le pregunta si tienen reserva, el cliente le dice que no y aún así le sienta en una mesa libre delante de toda la cola que estábamos esperando. Le recriminamos al camarero que esa pareja no tiene reserva y aún así les sienta para cenar y a los demás nos deja esperando sin dar una explicación. Cosa que hace que todos los que estábamos esperando nos sintamos menospreciados y nos vayamos. Ha sido una gran falta de RESPETO hacia los turistas que estábamos dispuestos a gastar dinero en su local. No lo recomiendo.

Arrived at 4.45 . Sorry menu before 5 pm not available to late !!. No water no bread .
Waiters stood around talking so were ignored for 15mins. Had the mussels . Very mediocre. No bread offered to soak up juices. Partner had the chicken.
Very dry . No sauce

Ordered the lamb and veal peka two days ahead of time as it takes 4-5 hours to prepare. It was fantastic and we were recommended a fantastic red blend from Hvar that complemented wonderfully.
The minimum order for peka is four people.
