Today we visited this restaurant and were honestly disappointed. As soon as we arrived and waited to be seated, several waiters passed by without acknowledging us. When we were finally seated and chose our meals, the waiter didn’t even know what the fish of the day was and said he would find out. In the meantime, another waiter came and described the same dish completely differently. We waited 25 minutes for our drinks, 45 minutes for the starter, and another 45 minutes for the main course. In the end, the waiter brought a completely different fish than the one we had ordered. He offered to bring the correct one, but we didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes. The tuna steak was salty and dry, and the risotto was overly salty as well. To be fair, the bread and starter were very tasty, and we did express our dissatisfaction directly at the restaurant, so they kindly removed the incorrect dish from the bill, which we appreciated. Still, we ended up paying €100 even with the discount, and for that price, the overall experience was truly disappointing. And as for the cat and dog sitting by the kitchen door – we won’t even comment on that.

Beautiful spot right on the water, with amazing service and food. Freshly baked bread with their own olive oil they produce, and the best seafood risotto. Make sure to get their house wine.

The team were able to squeeze us in as a last minute booking later in the evening, we had to wait a little while for our table - but it was well worth the wait. The location is beautiful, right on the waters edge. We had lobster, and some of the white risotto; both were incredible. Great wine, and the service was 10/10 all night - special thanks to Hrvoje.

The fish place gave me the best steak I've ever had. Amazing place, few places recently have delivered the cost of the menu and although this place is expensive I can say that it's 100% worth every cent. Amazing service and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you to tomi and the crew.

Beautiful scenery but terrible service and below average food - waiter was too arrogant to write anything down so forgot a lot of the dishes- my husbands oysters, butter for the kids, my wine, my salad, water - not worth the premium price tag we had much better in the area. No kids menu either so ordering kids food from main menu and split it for them - even that was below average. Average food is often forgiven with great service - the opposite is not true.

Wer in der Nähe von Dubrovnik unterwegs ist, sollte sich Konoba Kasar in Zaton Veliki auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen! Dieses kleine Fischrestaurant ist ein echtes Juwel – fernab vom Massentourismus, mit ehrlicher Küche, Herzblut und einer traumhaften Lage direkt am Wasser. Schon beim Ankommen spürt man die besondere Atmosphäre. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich und schaffen es, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wie ein willkommener Freund fühlt. We found this fantastic restaurant slightly hidden away, tucked into a 15th-century building overlooking a quiet waterside spot. The views were incredible, perfectly paired with freshly caught fish and an excellent selection of local wines. The service was impeccable – the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We chose the catch of the day, which they expertly deboned and served at the table. A fantastic experience all around and one I would highly recommend.

What a beautiful little gem nestled in Dubrovnik! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. Marco, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The food was exceptional, full of flavour and clearly made with love, and the views… just breathtaking. A truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
