All I can say: Wow!!!! It was an exceptional experience💕 During our trip to Hvar, we visited Hora Hvar farm. It’s an agricultural estate where olives, grapes, lavender, and other crops are grown. There is also an on-site restaurant that serves local dishes made from farm-grown ingredients. We took part in an olive oil and wine tasting, along with traditional local appetizers. We also had the chance to walk through the fields and learn more about the farm’s history and cultivation methods. It’s recommended to plan the visit in advance, as some activities require prior booking.

My husband and I wish we could give Hora more than 5 stars! Chris, Zorian, and Fox (sorry for spelling!) attended to us with intention and skill, and made sure our bellies were full and wine glasses full. It felt like a celebration. We laughed with everyone the whole night, even through torrential downpour. The setting amongst the Stari Grad plain was like no other. The team at Hora ensures that story is told through all of their food. Every dish was fantastic, we couldn’t recommend Hora enough. Do not miss this when you visit! :)

Everything in this place is great vibes, an amazing view of the winery and mountains from afar. Dorian was the main show of the day with his enthusiasm and welcoming personality.

100% recommended! Went there for my birthday and had the meat peka! The food was incredible, the wine also very nice and the atmosphere was just superb! They produce most of their products, so it's really authentic. The guys are super friendly and the vibe on the sunset between the vineyards makes it just perfect! Book in advance for the peka, it's a must!

This place is an absolute gem. The food was delicious, the hosts were welcoming, knowledgeable, and good-humored - it's a can't miss if you're in Stari Grad. Don't forget to take a bottle of their Bogdanusha wine for the road :)

Jag och min partner tog taxi ut en kväll utan att ha bokat in oss. Trotts att personalen hade fullt upp med ett väldigt stort annat sällskap så tog dom sig tiden att fixa ett bord till oss vid sidan om där vi sedan fick dricka ett par glas vin och sedan se oss omkring på området. Det är ett magiskt ställe som jag rekomenderar starkt, men ta kontakt med dom i förväg för att få ut så mycket som möjligt av besöket.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best food and drink experiences I’ve ever had. Incredibly affordable while still being top notch. The wine tasting featured 4 incredible wines, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Everything you consume was all made on site! Fox was our server/host, and I simply cannot say enough good things about him. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and an absolute delight! If you are in Stari Grad or the surrounding area, this is absolutely worth a trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful time doing a wine tasting at Hora Hvar. The food and wine was incredible and our waiter Aleks made the experience even better with his great knowledge of the wines.

We had our pre-wedding dinner here with over 100 people from all over the world as well as many from Croatia. All of them were absolutely delighted and charmed, and we really felt like we’d shown them the best side of Hvar by bringing them to Hora. Chriss should get a gold medal for how brilliantly he handled everything - from first contact with my parents, to preparations leading up to the event, to the execution on the day. He always replied in minutes, and was consistently friendly, relaxed, reliable, and had a great sense of humor about everything, even when we sprung last-minute changes on him. The dinner itself was seamless: shuttle service from Hvar and back, unbelievable food from peka with very generous portions, and, of course, great rakija and wine with the most stunning view on the island (in my humble opinion). Some guests who had had several peka said this was the best one. But all of this wouldn’t have been the same without Chriss and his amazing team of lovely guys - Vox, Alex, and Ivor (sorry if I got any of the names wrong; we’d enjoyed many beverages by the time we left). Such a special place made even better by a special team, I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Hvar!

If you are ever in Stari Grad, this vineyard is a must! A perfect place to relax and seek cover from the sun. We had the wine tasting experience which comes with some appetizers! The wine was very tasty and the snacks were delicious! We would have loved to have the lunch but unfortunately we didn’t book in advance! Also the service were very friendly and attentive 100% will go again!

We showed up at Hora without a reservation and were able to enjoy the wine tasting and appetizer platter. It’s such a beautiful space in nature, the wines were delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly and you can tell they enjoy their job. If you can, try to schedule in advance to try their traditional peka, we were not able to try but it looked and smelled delicious.
