Great food, great service, very unique spot. Much better than going to the touristy area.

Visited in early September as a couple. Food was delicious, service was good. Prices were incredibly reasonable. We decided to try the mixed grill plate for one person and the kondor (beam puree with Kajmak). The service was prompt and friendly. The staff quickly realized we could speak German and promptly provided us with a German menu card, which was a nice touch. (5/5) The dishes we ordered were quite enjoyable. The mixed grill plate was exactly as we expected, and the meat was perfectly seasoned. The first bite was fantastic; however, as we continued eating, we noticed the meat became dry. It could have benefited from some additional sauce. (4/5) The kondor dish, on the other hand, was consistently great from start to finish. The melted cheese added a delightful flavor that enhanced the entire dish. We even used some of the sauce with the meat, which worked wonderfully. (5/5) In terms of price, we were pleasantly surprised. We felt we received great value for the money we paid. The only downside was the presence of insects in the garden, which could be annoying sometimes. (Rating: 4/5) Overall, our experience at this restaurant was definitely worth it, and we highly recommend giving it a try. (5+4+5+4)/4 = 4,5 => 5 stars

Mein Lieblingsort. Sehr einfache, traditionell bosnische Küche bzw. Cevapcici in Perfektion! Sehr lecker gegrillt mit Ajvar und Kajmak und einem lockeren warmen Fladenbrot. Großartig! Das hauseigene Bier wird mittlerweile in Österreich gebraut, schmeckt super und passt hervorragend. Bei jedem Ljubljana-Besuch muss ein Abstecher zu „Walter“ einfach sein.

Lovely food and excellent service. There are food options for vegetarians and mest lovers. The quantity and quality are amazing.
