Welcome to BioMania, a unique plant-based restaurant beautifully located both in Bol on the stunning island of Brač and in the bustling city of Zagreb, Croatia. Lovely place to eat, especially in the evenings in the terrace. Wait staff are really friendly too. Red curry was a bit too tomato-heavy, but the biomania borek was amazing! Great vegetarian restaurant

Très bonne cuisine végane et traditionnelle croate. Cadre très agréable et romantique dans la principale rue de Zagreb. Je conseille le burek, les pâtes, les burger : tout est délicieux !

Underrwhelmed is the least to say. All the food offer you can find in other places for double less the price. Price would be adjustified if we tried something outstanding or different, however, we were super underwhelmed. Burgers have some cheap low grade buns, and the pattie itself is super thin, other meals are also quite "thin" in experience and quality as well. Thr only thing we liked thats different is vegan burek. Atmosphere would be better if they didnt stuck a new table next to ours mid evening so we didnt have any privacy whatsoever, and service, there is so much place for improvement, mostly very amateur service. This place is good to try it once, and never again, feels like another tourist trap.

It's probably my own fault, but I had to try the Carbonara, as I did not believe it was possible to make a vegan version of this dish. Sadly, I really struggled with the meal - once I had picked the flavorful morsels of crispy tofu off the dish, the remaining sauce and pasta were gritty, bland and tough to get down for me. I never finished the dish. Looking at the other reviews, I should probably give the restaurant another try next time I'm in town.
