Our server Maro was friendly and welcoming. We were seated outside in a little alleyway - great for people watching. We had beef carpaccio with salsa and Parmesan. Was very good. For our mains, had the seafood risotto and beef with pasta. The risotto was cooked in tasty seafood broth. There wasn’t a lot of seafood in the risotto but was well prepared. The beef pasta was a solid 3.5/5. For dessert we shared the almond cake. Coated in a gold dust, was visually striking. Portion was generous - perfect for sharing. Was moist and unique in flavour. Tasted like the nougat in a Toblerone bar.

Maro offered great meal suggestions as well as the suggesting the accompanying wine. We shared the black ravioli while I had the fish and my wife the special beef. We shared the almond cake dessert which was amazing and paired well with the dessert wine. Also fun fact; 44 is the number of the famous basketball player who owns the restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant 44, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience! I indulged in the most fantastic sea bass steak, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delight, and the accompanying sides complemented the dish beautifully. What truly stood out was the unbeatable price for such top-quality cuisine in Dubrovnik! It's rare to find a place that combines excellence with affordability. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I can't recommend Restaurant 44 enough! If you're in Dubrovnik, this is a must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience!

Amazing experience at forty four restaurant. Specifically the waiter that tended to our table, Marin, has been an excellent guide and helped us choose the best dishes and accompanying drinks for our taste. Definitely recommend !
