An elegant ‘gem’ within Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia. We were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for only one night but will be coming back. Vladimir, was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. He gave us excellent advice and directions for visiting the many treasures of Ptuj during our limited time. A lot of care and attention to detail was put into the restoration of this historical building. Well equipped and very comfortable ‘old world’ rooms. The further development of the park in front of the building will greatly enhance the appearance of the street front. When visiting Slovenia, don’t miss out on Ptuj, and don’t miss out on Šilak. They serve an excellent breakfast!

Liebevoll restauriertes Haus und sehr nette und hilfsbereite Besitzer. Leider ist das Frühstücksbuffet etwas mager und es gibt nur Filterkaffe sonst wäre das in allen Bereichen "sehr gut".

Rientrando da Budapest ci siamo fermati qui 3 notti per una tappa in Slovenia. Appena arrivati, guardando l'esterno, mi ero un po' preoccupata ma appena abbiamo aperto il grande portone...siamo entrati in un'altra epoca. |B&B molto accogliente, camere pulitissime, noi avevamo quella con il balconcino e soffitto a volte, perfetta! |Colazione ottima ed è possibile farla sia nella sala interna caratterizzata da soffitto a volte sia nel cortile esterno che ho trovato molto rilassante con tanto verde! |Parcheggio interno gratuito, comodissimo!|I proprietari sono eccellenti, gentilissimi, pronti a spiegare e consigliare sempre il meglio. Scambiando due chiacchiere con loro percepisci tanta serenità e amore per la loro terra e il loro lavoro.|Lo consiglio sicuramente! |

Nach einem sehr warmen und freundlichen Empfang wurden wir beim Check-in mit vielen Informationen über die Stadt versorgt (Sehenswürdigkeiten, Essen, ...). Durch die gute Lage zum Schloß und zur Innenstadt kann man alles zu Fuß erledigen und sich dann in den schön eingerichteten Zimmer ins gemütliche Bett legen. Nach dem Aufwachen gibt es ein hervoragendes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Definitiv zu empfehlen!

This B&B is excellent!! It is extremely well kept, clean and comfortable!! The rooms have excellent AC for warm weather. The custom furnishings and staircases are hand oiled Cherry wood and look amazing. The building is from 1690 and was remodeled beautifully. The breakfast buffet was the best we experienced on our trip with a wide variety of breakfast items. Our only regret is that we wished we had more time to spend in Ptuj!! The city has amazing sights and charm. The walk suggested by the owner Vladimir was excellent. The city is very photogenic!! You can’t go wrong!
