Great place to spend a day - ruins, an old monastery, historical displays, game of thrones display, and lots of great walking and swimming. Can take some effort to get down to the water in some places, but these are quieter. Dubrovnik pass holders get a discount on the ferry/ entry fee

Lokrum is a small island that was also used to depuct the land of Qarth in Game of Thrones. It is a nature reserve and can only be reached by ferry from Dubrovnik or for those feeling more adventurous you can kayak. The island has a small visitor centre and a couple of bars to get some drinks and food. It has many paths and trails some more accessible than others. Mostly flat but some smaller climbs to the old fort and the quarantine olive Grove from time.es of the black death. The original throne from Hame of Thrones is located within a small exhibition hall and you can sit in it if you want. Additional visitor attractions are a small underground exhibition on the monks that lived on the island which is interesting and really nice visually. There is a botanic garden and so.e lovely beaches as well as other historic buildings. For those who enjoy walking you can easily spend a few hours here. Because Lokrum is a nature reserve all visitors must be off the island on the last ferry. I would highly recommended a visit if you are staying in the Dubrovnik area.

Die Insel Lokrum liegt kurz vor Dubrovnik. Es gibt Fähren und der Eintrittspreis für den Nationalpark ist im Ticket (30€, 06/2025) inbegriffen. Die Insel selbst bietet diverse Möglichkeiten und Wanderwege, insbesondere aber auch Möglichkeiten zum Schwimmen. Auf der Insel fallen die vielen Menschen nur an gewissen Hotspots auf. Gerade an der vorderen Seite ist man aber praktisch alleine.
