Majestic view to the kingdom of Diocletian, equally massive lens to the Adriatic Sea. A steep climb but well worth the end outcome. Great view to both those calories and feel the spirit of Split from the top.

It is a long walk up here in the heat but the views and sense of accomplishment are certainly worth it! You start the walk at the "Marjan Stairs" which is at the NW end of the old town. After a short climb you reach the first viewpoint which is great itself. Then push on a further 15 minutes and you reach the peak. Marked with a flag and cross. Take plenty water to stay hydrated and enjoy the walk.

The park extends from Marmont Street west for nearly two miles. During summer months, amid the chaotic pace of the town it is a popular escape. The hills and woods of the park are the very lungs of the city. It is the preferred place for walking, jogging, climbing, or bike riding.
