I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The apartment was all mine: spacious, with a lovely vintage boho style and a beautiful sea view. It’s located above the seaside promenade, so every time you go to the beach, you have to walk back uphill (something to keep in mind). It’s in a quieter area, far from the crowded and overpriced Old Town, which was a big plus for me. The host was kind and helpful, and even helped me arrange transport to the airport. There were a couple of small downsides: the floor wasn’t clean when I arrived, and there’s no proper air conditioning — just a fan, which wasn’t really enough in the heat. But I mentioned it to the host and the cleaning issue was fixed quickly. Bonus: lots of friendly cats around the villa — they loved to come by and “chat” with me.

Hier handelt es sich nicht um ein Hotel sondern um ein in die Jahre gekommenes Haus in Privatbesitz. Das Studio, das wir über booking gebucht hatten, ist eine Art bewachsene Laube im Garten, die nicht Teil des Hauses ist. Die Luft darin ist feucht und kalt. Ich konnte wegen Atemproblemen dort nicht übernachten. Leider konnte die Buchung nicht storniert werden, so dass wir den vollen Preis zahlen mussten und die Vermieterin zeigte keinerlei Kulanz. Im Gegenteil, sie warf uns vor, dass wir nicht zu vereinbarten Ankunftszeit sondern viel später kamen. Der Ärger ist zwar verständlich, dennoch gingen wir davon aus, dass es sich wie angegeben um ein Hotel handelt und da gibt es normalerweise eine Rezeption.
