During our visit to Makarska, we discovered the Malacological Museum — and it was a true highlight! My daughter and I both love collecting sea shells, so this place felt magical. 🐚 The collection is stunning — so many rare and beautiful shells from around the world, all thoughtfully displayed in a small but charming space. If you’re in Makarska and love nature or sea life, don’t miss it. A real hidden gem! 💙

Невеликий, але дуже атмосферний музей у самому серці Макарської. 😍 Колекція мушель дуже велика, понад 3 000 екземплярів з усього світу. Деякі з них мають надзвичайно дивовижні форми та кольори, буде цікаво як дорослим, так і дітям. Музей розташований у старому монастирі, що додає особливої історичної аури. Персонал привітний, є інформація англійською. Ідеальне місце для короткої зупинки, відвідування займає приблизно 20–30 хвилин. Ціна нормальна - за одного 8€, сімейний пакет - по 5€ за особу. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться природою або шукає щось незвичне в Макарській

Malacological Museum -Magie des Meeres Was für ein schöner Ort-ein kleines,aber schönes Museum zeigt eine wunderbare Ausstellung von Muscheln, Meeresschnecken und Korallen . Auch wenn sich die Austellung nur auf 2 Räume verteilt, es es unglaublich was an unterschiedlichen und faszinierenden Muscheln sich in den Meeren dieser Erde entwickelt haben. Das Museum liegt etwas versteckt in einem Teil eines alten Klosters. Wer Makarska besucht und sich auch für die kleinen Dinge des Lebes begeistern kann sollte sich hier die Zeit nehmen.
