Welcome to the Shell Museum in Cavtat, a treasure trove for sea enthusiasts and a top attraction for visitors. Opening Hours
We are open every day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Our museum is easily accessible, located a short distance from the St. Nicolas Church in a beautiful space adorned with exquisite art and artifacts.

Lovely place with lots of beautiful shells of different kinds. The experience was really worth 8€. I highly recommend it, especially to families with kids, because there is a fun minigame to play (even if you're an adult), but i won't spoil anything to ruin the fun. :D

Bardzo ciekawe i pouczające doświadczenie. Muzeum może się wydawać niepozorne, ale zbiory zaskakują, podobnie jak stojące za nimi historie. Bilet 7 euro, a z audio przewodnikiem 10 euro. Moim zdaniem warto.

After taking a boat trip from Dubrovnik I had a couple of hours exploring the lovely little town of Cavtat. I came across this fascinating little museum and after 'shell'ing out a measly €7 I had a look around. Rows and rows of glass cabinets contained thousands of shells of different shapes, sizes and colours, all with descriptions of where in the world they were found. You might only spend half an hour or so looking round but it will be half an hour very well spent. Delightful museum 👍

Izuzetno mjesto gdje se mogu saznati neobične i zanimljive informacije. Izložba obogaćena i medijskim sadržajem, slikama i snimkama. Mogu se kupiti i originalni suveniri. Garantiram minimum sat vremena obilaska a ni djeci neće biti dosadno. Gospođa Ines, voditeljica muzeja, fino nas je uvela u doživljaj ovog postava i rado i iscrpno odgovarala na sva naša pitanja. Preporuka!
