Am Strand gibt es keine Toiletten und keine Duschen, nur eine Umkleidekabine. Die Preise für Essen und Trinken sind sehr hoch (Sommer 2025: ein Cheeseburger kostet 17 €, Cocktails ab 17 €). Zwei Liegen und ein Schirm kosten 40 € pro Tag. Der Fußweg zum Strand ist unbefestigt, rutschig und teilweise gefährlich.

Food was not good, I ordered a salad and the vegetables was «soggy» and not fresh. Staff was ok but not good service. I Would not recommend going here. Food was also kinda expensive especially considering the food wasn’t fresh.

La playa es muy linda para disfrutar el día. A las 18hs te quedas sin sol ya que está en una cala. Para llegar hay dos caminos, desde el puerto rodeando por la costa o desde la ciudad bajando un por un camino de piedras.

A mile east from the main port of Hvar there sits a beautiful pebble coved beach, and just off of said beach lies the small island of Pokonji Dol, which is where both the beach and this restaurant derive their names. The setting of this restaurant is beautiful, and its seclusion makes it very tranquil, but is the main reason this restaurant gets a lot of trade. The table set up is open plan, basic but nice. Pricewise it is very similar to the rest of Hvar, in that the food is a bit expensive, and the drinks even moreso. I had a chicken salad (€15) served in a decent sized bowl, unfortunately it was mostly lettuce, with a sparce amount of chicken. The waiter was nice, but service was very slow. I initially attempted to place my order at the bar, but was told to wait at my table for the waiter to take my order, which seemed bizarre given no-one was waiting at the bar and most the restaurant was full. So I waited about 10 minutes for my order to be taken, the food was served fairly quickly, but I had to leave my money at the table to pay, as I had been waiting over 20 minutes for my empty bowl to be collected (so I could ask for the bill), and by the time I had finished my food the restaurant has mostly emptied out. To give some lee-way, there were only 2 people covering the bar and floor, which seemed a bit short, however they were going at the pace you'd expect at somewhere that was very quiet, or heavily staffed. For the price paid, it wasn't worth it.

Nein!!!! 19€ für furchtbare frittierte 8 Cevapcici mit einem Häufchen Pommes. Tatsächlich war auch ein EL voll Ajvar dabei, keine Zwiebeln, nix!!! Ehrlich: die vielen Engländer hätten uns abschrecken sollen! Nepp! Kein schönes Ambiente...hoffentlich wirkt sich das Essen zumindest gesundheitlich nicht schlecht auf uns aus!!! Bitte NICHT hingehen!
