The greatest restaurant to dine in Hvar. Our waiter explained to us all dishes perfectly with details. The taste was perfect. The presentation of dishes were excellent and the plates, the texture and shapes amazing. Don’t miss desserts!

Une adresse exceptionnelle à 2 pas de la marina de Hvar. Entre 4 murs anciens, dans une atmosphère typique, romantique et conviviale, se dresse une terrasse aux tables accueillantes. La maîtresse de maison personnellement vous accompagne à votre table, et ensuite le service très professionnel s’occupe de vous dans la plus pure tradition gastronomique. On vous conseille sur les plats et leurs accompagnements qui pour la plupart sont des spécialités locales. On vous sert une cuisine élaboré et savoureuses dans une assiette très bien dressée. J’ai visité ce restaurant à 3 reprises et jamais je n’ai été déçu. La carte des vins offre également pour tous les palais et budgets. Les prix sont absolument raisonnables. Un adresse à ne pas manquer. Réserver absolument…!

The most Beautiful Experience I ve ever had anywhere in this world, from athmosphere to service and food, beyond any Michelin star place, I would describe this as unforgettable magic. The tasting menus (both seafood and land) are incredible. In love with this place. Also, Dario offered us incredible service and insights on each type of food and how it was cooked, which made the experience even better. If you go to Hvar, this is a place you cannot miss. Once in a lifetime experience❤️

Un bon restaurant avec de très bon avis. Des plats de qualité avec de bonnes portions. Néanmoins, pour un restaurant qui se veut d’un haut standing, les desserts sont décevants, si ce n’est mauvais. Ils étaient insipides, avec un goût industriel. Je doute qu’ils soient faits maison. Le service est correct mais une fois les plats desservis, personne ne vient nous voir pendant un quart d’heure pour nous proposer des desserts, que nous avons donc réclamés nous-même.

What a wonderful wonderful spot for dinner. We had a pre cocktail above, and had a slow dinner. Our waiter was so patient with me and my tricky intolerances. He knew the menu so well, and the substitutes that could be done. Beautiful Croatian sparkling. Setting is wonderful. Personally, I love the general chatter and laughs of other tables and the ambiance is spot on. We had steak, lamb, risotto, burrata. Allll wonderful. One more time for our waiter, wow wow wow. Knowledge, attentiveness, charm. Thank you thank you, what a beautiful end to our trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Medditeraneo. We booked a table in the outdoor seating area in advance and were glad that we did as it was busy. We shared the octopus carapaccio to start. I then had the monkfish and my husband had the fillet steak. All of the food was very flavoursome and service was impecable. We were provided with a a glass of processco in celebration of our honeymoon and also had the opportunity to trial Medica; a traditional honey liqueur, and breads with local olive oils, which made the meal all the more memorable.

Run, don't walk. Best meal we had during our eight days in Croatia. The ambiance was perfect, the table setting to the waiters were delightful and the food was tremendous. From the octopus carpaccio to the traditional monk fish cheeks, it was a perfect evening in a romantic setting.

We had an unforgettable dinner at Mediterraneo Dine & Wine in Hvar. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. We started with the octopus carpaccio and burrata salad, followed by the seafood soup, duck, sea bream, and the absolute standout of the night—the foie gras, which was simply out of this world. The foie gras was the highlight: rich, perfectly balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth. The sea bream was fresh and expertly cooked, and the seafood soup was flavorful and comforting. The burrata salad was light and creamy, and while the duck was very good, it ranked just slightly below the other incredible dishes. Special shoutout to Matteo, our server, who was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and attentive. He took the time to explain each dish with passion and precision, which made the whole experience even more special. A true 5-star dining experience—elegant, delicious, and memorable. Highly recommend!

⸻ We had an incredible dining experience at Mediterraneo Dine & Wine in Hvar. We each opted for a tasting menu—one seafood-focused, one meat-focused—and both were absolutely exceptional. The standout dishes for us were the mushroom soup with truffle—rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced—and the fresh tuna, which was melt-in-your-mouth good. The duck was hands down the best we’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. The final savory courses of monkfish cheeks and A5 Wagyu were both showstoppers, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, which made the whole evening feel even more special. We ended the meal with their raspberry and strawberry desserts, which were light, refreshing, and the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a refined yet relaxed fine dining experience in Hvar.

there’s a whole gourmet concept behind mediterraneo so you have to come here if you’re looking for an experience. the waiters really make you feel special and I loved how they explained to me everything they brought to the table. for me, when the menu is a bit hard to read and confusing to choose, I really appreciate recommendations; and I got great ones: I had an octopus carpaccio and dorado with gnocchi. I felt portions were too small and my fish plate came a bit cold. when it comes to those details and I’m paying more than anywhere else I have to say I expected better.
