The meat is excellent. There is nothing more to add. If you are a meat lover, I strongly recommend anything based on horse meat. The staff is also very welcoming. Make a stop here if you are visiting Ljubljana.

Restaurant INCROYABLE ! Étant fils de boucher, ce dîner a été orgasmique. N’importe qui pourrait aimer de la viande après avoir manger ici. Service parfait, nous avons eu le droit à des verres de prosecco offert en attendant qu’une table soit libre pour honorer notre réservation faite un peu plus tôt dans la soirée. Vin exceptionnel, conseillé par le responsable. Viande tendre, cuite à la perfection. Accompagnements irrésistibles (champignons fourré au gorgonzola et pommes de terre au fromage). Nous en parlerons autour de nous, c’est immanquable si vous venez à Ljubljana et que vous aimez la viande.

Luckily we had no trouble getting a reservation. We were even more in luck since the next day they would be on holiday. This however meant not all meats were available, which is quite logical and speaks for their freshness. Very friendly and relaxed service of the owner. The kitchen team works in a limited amount of space but does a wonderful job in a quiet way. The meat tasted excellent. We had the normal quality sirloin horse steak and the premium beef. The latter one blew us away with flavor. The horse wasn't bad either but not as good as the other one. The side dishes tasted excellent, grilled vegetables and potato was good! Try the 8 raw meats for starter: original and good. Price was 96 eur for 2 with 250ml of wine. Definitely recommended.
