This little gem is simply unmissable when visiting Vis—the sweet smell coming from the shop is enough to draw you right in. The woman who runs it is incredibly kind, the kind of person who makes you feel instantly welcome. My only regret is that I showed up too late—almost everything had already been sold out. But I couldn’t leave without trying something. I normally don’t like anise, but the little biscuits looked too good to pass up… and I ended up finishing the entire box that same evening. Absolutely worth it.

Mrs Mirela’s products are authentic and made with a lot of true passion and love. You can taste that in her food each time, and I have visited her shop multiple times during my 2 week stay. To top it off, she is genuinely very kind and pleasant person, who always makes you feel welcomed. My warmest recommendation to anyone staying in Vis, and I wish Mrs Mirela many healthy, happy and successful years to come!

I really enjoyed my late morning and evening stops here! The woman at the shop was so friendly and was always in the middle of baking something tasty! Her baked goods were some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was high quality! A definite must try!

No words for this place! Mrs Mirela is incredible in how she treats the visitors and her genuine traditional biscuits and cakes are out of this world. I arrived almost close to the closing time and she still had some biscuits left aside!! And spared a slice of almond cake just for tasting and in case we come around tomorrow. No words!! For me, the greatest joy of traveling is to meet interesting people and eat good food. The owner of this bakery is a treasure. She is passionate about her local food and baked goods and will joyfully tell you all about what she bakes. Do not expect to come in and choose from a selection of pre-baked goods. Instead, come in and and ask her what she is making and when she thinks it will be ready. I promise it will be worth coming back for. I was in Vis two days and would stop by every time I walked past the shop just to see what delicious things she was making. Thank you so much for all the delicious goodies and for spreading your joy!

The Nutella and the cheese rolls were one of my favourite things to eat on the island! The owner is super friendly and does all the pastries by herself, highly recommend!
