Man ist auf Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten nicht eingerichtet. Die Küche ist nicht flexibel. Das Zimmer wurde in 4 Tagen 1 x gereinigt. Das Schloss ist ein Traum. Die Umgebung auch. Es gibt hervorragende Restaurants in der Nähe.

True castle in a very picturesque place. Very attentive service. Somptuous room with very comfortable double bed and jacuzzi bath room. Classy decoration throughout the facility. Deep silent nights. Free access to hotels sport facilities and spa as part of the group. Perfect to rest in a wellness bubble.

The Otočec castle, built on one of the islands in the Krka river, is the only castle in Slovenia that is completely surrounded by water. Its present architecture originates from the transitional period between the Romanesque and the Gothic eras. The original unfortified building with a rectangular ground plan was later expanded, giving it an L-shape. To protect the castle from Turkish assaults, a new outer wall was added and fortified with towers at the corners. The castle park on the island was created under the Schweiger – Larchenfeld family (1727-1850), but its original form has been lost to the centuries. With the beautiful island park, the castle reflected in the clear water of the Krka river and the white mute swans, Otočec is truly a magical place.

Las instalaciones del hotel están muy bien, el café del desayuno mejorable, era turco (que me parece bien) pero no tenía buen sabor....por lo demás, todo bien. El menú degustación no estaba mal pero tampoco era muy bueno, no lo repetiría, creo que no merece la pena. Sí volvería al hotel aunque no sé si comería allí. Es muy bonito, personal amable y muy agradable.

Très beau château médiéval transformé en palace 5 étoiles. Arrêtez - vous juste pour le cadre magnifique de verdure dans lequel il se trouve et y prendre une boisson voire y dîner si vous le souhaitez. Les prix sont très abordables ( mais nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester !)

I booked two days for my wife's 60th birthday. The restored castle sits on a lovely island in the middle of a river. It was very special -- fabulous setting, service and restaurant. We hope to return one day.
