This magnificent five-stars hotel hosts also a Michelin Plate restaurant where the chef Nejc Ban and his team realise their talents. The castle has an attractive architecture influenced by different styles over several centuries, the interior was carefully renovated, rooms are pleasant and nicely furnished using natural materials, only some minor details divide the guest´s impression from perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant is superb, you can check its photos by yourself, I can highly recommend their 5-course degustation menu, which offers a wide spectrum of authentic tastes, ingredients are mainly local, the individual dishes are presented very well by competent waiters. Also the other hotel staff are very professional, attentive and helpful. To sleep and dine within castle walls is a special experience...enjoying a cup of tea beside a fireplace is unforgettable. Overall, it is a charming and impressive place, I truly couldn´t recommend it enough for example for special occasions like romantic getaways or celebrations of jubilees.

Bella struttura in un contesto meraviglioso su di un'isoletta sul fiume Krka. Per raggiungerlo occorre passare su di un ponte completamente di legno molto stabile e suggestivo, meraviglioso il parco adiacente alla struttura. Il castello è attivo con all'interno una struttura ricettiva di lusso a 5 stelle.

Čudovit ambient, ob neokrnjeni naravi. Lepo urejene sprehajalne poti. Vse skupaj zmotijo le divji ribiči, kateri namakajo trnek v Krki, zraven pa prosjačijo za kakšen euro. O dovolilnicami za lovljenje rib, pa še verjetno niso slišali. Ne spada v ta biser narave.

Summer or winter, fall or spring, I go to otocec at least once a month to walk around in nature. It’s beautiful, kids love it. We walk and talk, and admire the nature. I don’t use their restaurant and the hotel that frequently, but it’s really good! Mostly due to the fabulous location and mojo of this mediaeval jewel. I’m thankful that the park is always clean, tidy and royal.

Divno mjesto. Jovana je senzacija. Toliko se trudi, razumije kako pristupiti gostu, kako mu objasniti hranu. Novi degustacijski menu nas nije oduševio, lošiji je od starog, okusi su preblagi i tanjuri malo nepraktični, ali zbog Jovane ćemo doći opet.

Ho pranzato con mio marito presso il ristorante di questo magnifico hotel. Cucina cosmopolita e sorprendentemente gradevole. Abbiamo mangiato un branzino alla griglia veramente buonissimo. Il pesce era fresco e sicuramente non di allevamento. Assolutamente da provare, sia per la location stupenda che per la cucina
