Hotel Vicko and Villa Vicko are located on either side of the main street in Starigrad. Both share access to a very nice part of the beach and both businesses are owned by the same familly. We stayed at the hotel which was excellent. The rooms are simple but clean, airconditioned, and with nice views of the surroundings. The breakfast buffet is just right and the service is absolutely great. The hotel serves as an ideal starting point for exploration of the Paklenica national park too.

Pleasantly Surprised – Highly Recommended! At first, the hotel seemed a bit modest from the outside, but everything changed once we checked in. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from. The room was spotlessly clean and very well maintained – they even folded our clothes and neatly arranged our belongings, which was a lovely and unexpected touch. We had a balcony with a nice view of the street – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. Just a short walk downstairs, there’s a beach nearby where you can swim and relax by the water, which made our stay even better. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again!

Urlaub 07/25. Ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Perfekte Lage, nahe zum Strand. Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Hunde sind herzlich Willkommen. Das Hotel ist zu 100% weiter zu empfehlen.

Excellent location with a parking you pay 15 euro per day. Pet friendly also 15 euro per day. The breakfast is included and you have a big choice so everyone can find something to choose. The staff is very helpfull and the view around the hotel is gorgeause. Nearby National Park Paklenica and the beach. We enjoyed and our doggy too. We visiited during summer and plan to come back in spring or autumn.

Excellent. Beautiful garden area goes down to the sea (swimming area). Outstanding breakfast. Lovely walk along the sea wall into the village.

Lovely modern rooms with great air conditioning, views and balcony facing the ocean. Comfy beds, WiFi occasionally a bit patchy but mostly good. Short walk to the water for a swim. Dropped a star as reception often unmanned, restaurant closed in evening and opened later than advertised for breakfast.

Wir waren jetzt Anfang Mai 12 Tage in einem Appartement des Hotels Vicko. Alles super. Vor allem die Sauberkeit. 1 mit Stern. Tolles Frühstück und sehr freundliche Inhaber und Angestellte. Sehr zu empfehlen auch für Winnetou Fans. Vielen Dank für alles.

The room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately very poorly soundproofed — we could hear all the noise from the hallway as if people were inside our room. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh options. However, breakfast service ends at 9:00 AM, which feels quite early for guests on vacation. Extending it a bit later would be appreciated

We clearly got one of the old apartments which are separate from the main hotel. The bedding is an old unfilled duvet cover and even older green fleece. The towels are even older. The bedroom is quite dreary and the whole apartment very tired. The breakfast was ok with yogurt and fruit hot food.
