We stayed here when visiting Ljubljana, and it was the only option left as the city was crowded. You can choose cheaply and easily reach the center of the city by public transport. Still, for the price, the hotel is quite old and not that well maintained: the carpet in the hall ways is worn out and dirty, there are stains on the walls, television hardly worked, etc. The friendly staff compensates this partly. Recommended for when visiting Ljubljana in a busy period when there is little other availability.

Wir brauchten spontan eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit und der Gastgeber war sehr unkompliziert, spricht deutsch und ist freundlich. Er hat uns noch ein paar Restaurants in der Nähe empfohlen. Man bekommt, was man erwartet:Günstiger Preis, sauberes Zimmer. Das Cafe oder die Bar gibt es in dem Sinne aber nicht. Zu Essen gibt es nur Pizza und das Frühstück gibt es auf Vorbestellung. Die Bahnschienen sind tatsächlich nur 3 Meter vom Haus entfernt aber die Kinder und wir haben gut durchgeschlafen. Im Haus ist der Zug nicht so störend. Bis in die Hauptstadt sind es nur 10 Minuten und bis zum Bleder See sind es 45 Minuten.

An der Hauptstraße gelegen von Medvode.Neben dem Haus verläuft die Bahnlinie, die aber nicht so schlimm ist vom Geräuschpegel. Parkplätze vor dem Haus.Für Gehbehinderte ist die Übernachtung schwierig, da man Treppen steigen muß, um ins Zimmer mit Klimaanlage zu kommen. Frühstück soweit in Ordnung. Gab Brot, Baguette Marmelade, Butter, Kaffee, flüssigen Joghurt, Eier und gute Informationen, da der Hotelier nur gerade mal Pizza anbieten könnte, aber in 3km Entfernung es ein gutes Restaurant zum Essen gibt und ich schätze mal in ca 500m vom Hotel es einen Supermarkt gibt.Wer große Ansprüche stellt, ist hier Fehl am Platz. Mir hat die Unterkunft soweit getaugt, da ich nur Übernachten wollte und ein Frühstück wollte.

The hotel lists a lot of amenities but it does not mention that it is situated 1 meter ( ! ) from a busy train line. It is impossible to get a sleep after a long journey unless you get drunk heavily. Staff is friendly, however the hotel badly needs refurbishment.

V gostilni Ančka imajo zelo dobro hrano, predvsem štruklje. So izredno prijazni, zelo skrbijo za čistočo, cene so zmerne glede na kvaliteto usluge. Moja družina obiskuje ta lokal že cca 30 let. Pri njih slavimo skoraj vsa praznovanja. Le tako nadaljujte. L.p.

We had a great weekend away from home at Pri Ancki. It is a great stay for those seeking to spend a quiet and close to nature time with many hiking trails and bike routes in the vicinity. They offer breakfast and are pet friendly. The staff is professional and nice, the rooms are clean and have fast wifi with ac in every room. Definitely recommended!
