We only visited the spa from across the street. Nice little spa. The jets in the hot tub were set to very high stream. If I sat on the wrong spot the stream kept slapping my balls which wasn't very pleasant. You had a proper Finnish sauna at the spa which was a very pleasant surprise as a Finnish person. The stove was a bit weird though. If you want to crank up your sauna game, you should order one from Harvia (leading Finnish brand) I'm sure they will happily deliver you one.

Hotel Uvala suited us very well - our sea-view room had everything we needed, the bed was super-comfortable and Housekeeping were extremely efficient. The location is excellent - plenty of walking opportunities on the Lapad and Babin Kuk peninsulas, good restaurants nearby, and the bus stop right outside the hotel made getting into the Old City very easy.|Any negatives were minor - we didn't dine in the hotel largely on the basis of the breakfast offering, which was ok, but even at 7.00 am the hot food was at best lukewarm, and the one breakfast box we had wasn't great for a 4 star hotel. Internally the hotel was very quiet but we did get occasional noise at night from outside - mostly due to a loose manhole cover in the road which clattered every time something drove over it. And although a small point, we were surprised that all of our towels were changed daily despite being hung up; why bother with a sign urging guests to think of the environment if their efforts to do so are then ignored? |On a more positive note, the construction work next door wasn't an issue for us at all and, although the area around the pool is quite small, we were always able to find sunbeds if we wanted them. Uvala has a nice small hotel feel, and whilst all the staff were very pleasant and friendly, Domogoj on Reception deserves special mention as a great ambassador for the hotel and for being extremely helpful. The young lady on Reception was also very good. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.

This is an excellent location of a hotel with fabulous facilities like outdoor pool and indoor spa pool plus wellness centre. Staff are great areas to improve is food they need more variety of options of food especially when going on a trip they pack the breakfast very limited option no coffee or bottle water for choice only cheese and ham sandwich for this high spec hotel and within this area would appreciate they add more effort on food options. Huge thanks to Jason and hotel manager and Jacques at the bar very friendly staff but great location and facilities.

Bili smo od 10 do 12.06 u hotelu moj sestrić i ja. Prošle godine takođe. Mi imamo samo pohvale za ovaj hotel. Divno osoblje, odlična hrana, higijena na nivou. Pohvalila bih sve od recepcije do kuvarica. Mi dolazimo iz Novog Sada. Posebne pohvale za Jakšu i divnu Mateu koja nije skidala osmeh sa lica. Doći ćemo ponovo, to je sigurno. Svaka vam čast za domaćinski atmosferu. Samo tako nastavite.

The hot was fantastic!! The front desk persons were exceptionally nice even offering their personal umbrella if it rained. Fortunately it didn’t rain. We had a terrific time. Thanks

just come back from a week away. had a lovely time, hotel is lovely, staff very friendly they came round with free refreshments by the pool as very hot, Dubrovnik is beautiful will definitely recommend

Hotel Uvala was very comfortable, friendly and inviting with wonderful views.||We had a sea view room which was well worth the extra money with views over the mountains and the sea. Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely size with a nice big bathroom. Cleaners came in everyday and was always clean and fresh. The location of the hotel was perfect with the bus stop outside straight into Dubrovnik old town. Yes, there was construction work, but we were told about this before hand and it never really impacted on our stay, even when sitting round the pool. There was an indoor and outdoor pool, which was lovely as weather was a bit hit and miss for the time we were there.||Breakfast was very nice indeed - the poached eggs were the best I've had! Also, sparkling wine in the morning was a real treat. We did have evening meal included, but went out a few nights as well, but what we did have, was very good with loads of choice. The only thing I would say, is I think for the star rating of the hotel, maybe some free tap water on the evening with the meal would be nice, as you get this in the morning but not on the evening meal. And I realise I'm sure you could ask, but a water dispenser like you have at breakfast, would be nice.||Hotel is situated in a very beautiful area, with just a short walk into the bars/restaurants area. ||Just one little tip though, if you are getting a taxi to anywhere - we went over to Cavtat but couldn't go on the water taxi as it was too windy - order an UBER rather than go through the hotel (not their fault) but it cost 40 euros more than using the uber app on the way back! ||We loved our stay and would have no problem in recommending the hotel and the area, but also make sure you go into Dubrovnik on the evening - it was really quite stunning.

If your booked for 2025, please consider changing hotels. We have just stayed here June/July 2025. We were dissapointed on arrival to see a huge crane and building site next door and rightly so. Having breakfast at 7:15am and they were smashing stones and started work this early and thats all you can hear when sat out trying to enjoy the view with breakfast. They are working right next to the swimming pool and loungers too, so we didn't use these all trip because of the noise. Not relaxing at all and if your hoping to have a quiet trip or afternoon on your balcony then think again. The noise can be heard when sat on the beach opposite also. All it would have taken was the hotel manager to email guests a few weeks before and offer to cancel for free or tell them about this work and offer a discount. But for €1200 for 5 nights, this is not the hotel we were hoping to be spending our trip in and didn't want to sit out on our balcony or sunbathe by the pool. The only day no building work happened was sunday. Also I wanted to pay city tax at check in, I was asked to do it on the last day. It was €20 at check in as I asked, but increased to €26 when I went to pay the last day, why? The staff on the front desk give you the bare minimum of a hello, such a difference the hotel I had been in the week before. The breakfast is absolutely lovely and good selection, but is cold before 8am. We went between 7am and 8am every day and all the cooked breakfast was cold even though its just opened. Location is great for good restaurants, beach and bus stop outside and a few local shops too. Recommend Pull over, Pivo and Agoras to eat. The rooms are dated and are in need of refurbishment, especially the showers which had cracked tiles, black grout and mouldy ceilings. Blood stains on the curtians from people squashing mosqitos. The housekeeping staff however always said hello and were friendly, and kept the room clean, so thankyou to them for doing a good job. We would have mentioned our concerns at checkout, but we're not asked 'how was your stay?' and all that was said was 'you need to pay city tax', by the man (I think who was the manager) and off we went as had a taxi waiting for the airport. Save your money and book another hotel, for the price we expected a nice trip and a bit more better quality, but it's not good we were not told about this work, while I understand its out of the hotels control, if you cared about your guests comfort, this should be mentioned before they arrive.

Exceptional experience at Hotel Uvala, Lapad, Dubrovnik. Amazing room with sea view over all Lapad bay. Stuff is very professional and friendly. Must mention hotel bar manager Velimir Djodjo who provides exceptions services with his team. Beach is close to hotel with lot of space. Buffet dinner and breakfast are excellent with lot of choices of fresh and well prepared food. it is smaller hotel, never too crowded which provides calm and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend Hotel Uvala, Lapad, Dubrovnik as place to stay for relaxing and memorable vacation. Hope to be back at Hotel Uvala next year.

Nice kean hotel although a little dated food not so good & expensive also drinks expensive too for example I asked for a large beer & a vodka with a splash of lime&lemonade the barmaid fetched the drinks to our sunlounger & placed four drinks down, so I asked why her reply was we can’t mix drinks so you have to have one of each with the bill coming in at €24.70. |I questioned it as during the day they come round with a complimentary mixed vodka reception made a note of it saying she was training & on checkout they halved the bill all be it under duress. The pool is decent & the location is good but we wasn’t made aware of the hotel being built next door so major construction site very noisy all day they have a tower crane up too so you can’t relax round the pool there for it’s not a spa & wellness facility I can assure you.I got in touch with hotel.com who I booked it through & told them about it & that I wasn’t happy etc to be fair they got straight on to the hotel & the hotel did try and make things better by offering us a free bbq evening & a bottle of wine but tbh it didn’t really cut it as the workmen work 7am til 7pm & our room was very close to the construction.

Бронировали данный отель на одну ночь. Через Booking. Так получилось, что перепутали дату. И начался квест. Оказалось , что букинг помочь не может- это отель партнер, за который они не несут никакой ответственности. Не знала о таком статусе и проблемах , связанных с этим. Телефон, указанный в подтверждении бронирования, оказался недействительным. По телефону, указанному на сайте отеля, велели менять бронирование на букинге, если бронировали через него! В общем ни позвонить, ни написать. Пришлось связываться со следующим в графике отелем и менять даты там. Конкретно по отелю- конкретно подуставший. Парковка- 4 места ( сначала надо зачекиниться и взять ключ от рамки на асфальте). Спа- маленький - 3 бани и джакузи. Из 3-х бань работали две. На процедурах не были. Обед/ужин- 30 с чем-то евро на человека. Для проживающих в отеле- 26 евро. Именно в день нашего проживания- была гриль парти - без каких- либо скидок. Парти началась и закончилась очень стремительно. Еле успели. Автобус до старого города- 2,50 евро с человека за одну поездку. ( номер 4).

Hotel Uvala was a peaceful escape just outside Dubrovnik. The sea views were breathtaking, the staff kind and helpful, and the spa was perfect after a day exploring. Great breakfast, comfy rooms, and just steps from the beach—couldn’t have asked for more.

Lugar tranquilo y agradable. Vistas espectaculares al mar. Buena atención. Alejado del casco turístico (Old Town a 45-50 mins a pie) aunque con posibilidad de coger el autobús justo al salir del hotel y va directo. Está cerca del paseo marítimo que es precioso para pasear al atardecer y tomar algo. En nuestro caso la habitación nos pareció algo antigua, especialmente el baño, aunque bien arreglada. Dispone de una gran piscina en la primera planta, tranquila y bien cuidada. En general, recomendamos hospedarse en este hotel.

Very friendly staff, always helpful when needed. Lots of complimentary treats. Breakfast was amazing and the dinner offered plenty of delicacies for the money. Will be coming back!

A friend and I recently visited the Wellness centre in the hotel. We had a back massage and nail spa treatment. The nail treatment was not good and after 50 minutes the varnish had still not dried and hence smudged. I emailed the hotel firstly in English and then Croatian with no joy. I posted a review on this site and then received a response and now a refund from the hotel. Great that the hotel eventually did the right thing but should it have taken so long? Disappointing

Stayed at the Uvala for 1 week. The food was of a very good standard. Rooms at the back nice and quiet facing into the woods. Wellness area excellent. Staff very helpful and the manager. Can be seen talking to the guests and is easily approachable. Hotel is close to bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. However on the negative side there is construction noise as there is a New Hotel being built next to the Uvala. but it should be finished next year. Would recommend this Hotel.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à l'hôtel Uvala.Nous avons eu une chambre avec une belle vue sur la baie de Lapad,toujours maintenue très propre par une personne de service très souriante.Le buffet tant du breakfast que du Dinner était toujours varié et copieux.Un merci particulier au serveur Jayson,très souriant et attentif aux besoins des touristes et aussi au personnel de la réception très aidant.|Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour de découverte de Dubrovnik.

The perfect setting for a city break. Friendly welcome on arrival. Comfortable rooms. Cleanliness was faultless. Attentive staff. Excellent leisure facilities for a small hotel. Situated within 100 metres to the beach. The no 4 bus to the old town stops at the front door of the hotel. Top marks for this well run establishment. Petar at reception was helpful on every occasion, Also the restaurant manager was always present and quietly making sure the guest where looked after. The wellness suite is good value and we highly recommend.

Fijn hotel, ruine frisse kamer en badkamer, minpunt douche in diep bad. Ruim fijn balkon. Goed ontbijt. Zwembad ruim genoeg voor voorseizoen, maar denk in hoogseizoen te weinig stoelen
