We came for our honeymoon. The rooms are clean, modern and a nice size. Our room had a pretty big balcony facing the water. The entire wall was part of the door to the balcony and the door opened up so that half the room was open, it felt like an extension of the room. The beds were huge, I think it was a California king and very comfortable! Complimentary water in the room was great as well. We stayed at 3 different hotels for our honeymoon and this was the only one that didn't acknowledge it besides saying 'congratulations' at check-out. That was a bit disappointing as both of our other hotels went above and beyond to recognize our celebration. The breakfast had a big variety and was very good. Though I asked a server for a box to take a few things to-go for our boat trip we had one day, and a male server standing by the coffee was staring at me with a dirty look the entire time I was putting food in the box. It made me very uncomfortable. Also the coffee was served in machines, rather than a pot. I'm not sure if this is common in Croatia but felt not as fresh as normal coffee. The rooftop pool was beautiful overlooking the yachts, but it was very crowded on the with a trendy, rowdy crowd. Most people were there in big groups, drinking and lounging outside for the day. If you're looking for a lowkey quiet pool atmosphere, do not stay here. Also, we had to wait about 10 minutes to get 2 chairs in the shade, and we got lucky. Others had to share a chair. We asked the bartenders if there were any more chairs they could put out and they said no. I think it would be great if they could get more chairs so everyone had a seat. Location of the hotel was perfect, right on the water and about a 10 min walk from the main ferry port. DO NOT ASK THE FRONT DESK, CONCIERGE OR BARTENDERS FOR food suggestions unless you want to go to the most expensive places. We literally asked for something reasonably priced, local and not fancy and all of their suggestions were fine dining and expensive. We ended up walking around and finding a reasonable local place ourselves. Also this appears to be a place where celebrities stay, as we saw one leaving as we were checking in. A very bougie atmosphere. We almost felt like we were annoying the staff whenever we asked for a suggestion, or ice at the bar. The other hotels we stayed at did not give this impression. The other hotels just wanted to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Overall I would recommend this hotel for it's modern rooms and location. But the atmosphere is not the friendliest and better for a group than a couple on their honeymoon.

Wir waren zwar keine Hotelgäste, hatten aber ein kleines Anliegen – und wurden von der Mitarbeiterin Maja absolut herzlich und professionell betreut. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft, Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit haben uns wirklich beeindruckt. Ein so zuvorkommender Service ist nicht selbstverständlich und spricht sehr für die Qualität des Hauses. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Split werden wir definitiv im Hotel Ambassador übernachten – und auch das Restaurant würden wir sehr gerne noch einmal besuchen. Vielen Dank an Maja und das gesamte Team!

Ein sehr schönes 5-Sterne Hotel. Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt. Überall war es sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer hatten eine ausreichende Größe und das Personal war überall und stets aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war überragend. Vielen Dank für alles :)

This hotel is two years old with modern amenities. It has a great view but the sauna does cost money and the pool is quite small. The hotel staff are friendly and are located close to old Town.

Super location! Staff just the best! Ina and Christina at Reception, Nisha ( who looks like Galdolf from Harry Potter, btw) and Borjana with the lovely dimples at the breakfast place, and Ivana at the bar who patiently made me my non alcoholic pina colada! Thank you for the lovely stay...
Just look at that pool area! This hotel was great, even better than I expected. The beds are so comfortable, the employees friendly, and the breakfast (which comes with the room) is out of this world. It is a buffet with anything and everything you could possibly want. It is within walking distance to everything we wanted to do/see. I am so glad we picked this hotel!

Room was a bit tight, but the view was outstanding. Nice pool area with view, but the pool is small. The service was outstanding!!! We were there on a Sunday, and we couldn't find a place to eat, so we ate at the hotel. The food was very good. I left our car there for a few days while we island hopped. It was a great place to leave the car ($25/day). This is a very convenient location....15-20 minute walk to the ferry.

Hotel Ambassador is the place to go if you’re staying in Split! The service is impeccable. Niksa (at the restaurant) is the sole reason I am giving this hotel 5 stars, he is amazing. Great views, great vibes, great times! This place is a must stay!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Lovely hotel right on the harbor. Niksa was our breakfast buffet server and he was so attentive. He even remembered what we had from the prior day! Always makes a great experience when you have someone who cares. And giving us prosecco really made it special!

The absolute best place to stay in Split. Awesome hotel great rooms and the service is off the charts. Honestly location and views can’t better. Elena went out of her way to help me with a problem totally unrelated to the hotel. Truly an exceptional experience.
