We found this host in a last minute deal and this was one of the best fast decision we have made. Lovely and hospitable people-workers. I think the owner can be very proud to have a staff like that! Where tradition meets the new era. Truly amazing. And local food-no mangoes for breakfast, just pure fruits that grow on the garden. Keep doing the great work. We will be back. :)

It is amazing how tradition and benefits of modern lifestyle solution can fit so well. Kalska domačija has really impeccable modern design of both interior and exterior, but managed to keep centuries old tradition through numerous details. It is amazing to see that people take care of their roots, culture and tradition by telling the story and creating new values. Good job :)

My sisters, parents and aunt and uncle stayed here while visiting relatives. Very modern accommodations. Lovely setting. Scrumptious breakfast in the mornings. It's a great home base for exploring this beautiful part of the world.

A very nice and authentic appartment. We arrived at 8pm and Vesna arranged our family a nice diner. Look at the fotos and you understand all- perfect taste in a rural area. Friendly and feeling like u are part of the family.

Me and my friends decided to stay here for two nights from 30.12.to 1.1. And it was great :) the place itself was completely renovated. We received a warm welcone with homemade Orehovec (strong drink) and Pogača (bread with seeds, pancetta and cheese). They also offer food service. We ordered New Years Eve dinner. It was good, proper Slovene cousine. The staff was also really kind!! I recommend it 100%

Very nice and secluded, newly renovated Guest House ! We booked this room as a pitstop during our trip to Croatia. We were very warmly welcomed by the lovely Vesna with some local specialty drink. After some short guide in and around the Guest House,we were advised a very good local restaurant. After diner we enjoyed some fantastic night views and sounds to be fully prepared for a great relaxing sleep. You shouldn't miss out on the home cooked breakfast served in the cosy dining room with super views over the little town. We will certainly plan a trip to Slovenia shortly and will undoubtfully return to this small jewel. Enjoyed it so much!

My 2 daughters (ages 8 and 11) and I stayed here 2 nights this past August. The proprietors were extremely helpful and friendly. Their son, in particular, made our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. He speaks English perfectly and helped me create fun activities for the girls. The breakfasts are lovely - there is a covered renovated barn area with long tables. You can enjoy your morning coffee listening to the farm animals around. There is an enclosed air conditioned area for guests to relax in as well upstairs. The rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. The air conditioning was superb as we happened to be there during a heat wave. This is a great location if you enjoy hiking or bike riding. The only difficulty we had was finding it. You must call upon arrival and our phone service was not working in this part of Slovenia. We drove to a sports center nearby and the people there were able to direct us. If you do not have a working cell phone make arrangements in advance regarding your arrival.
