Room is okay 👌 breakfast as wel 👌 Pool is to crowded and beach isnt there (seawater is) Sauna on the 8th floor is dissapointing because the open area is at 34 degrees which doesnt allow you to cooldown!! Need to be fixed, several people are complaining

Fijn hotel, schoon en mooi uitzicht op de zee! Er waren een paar kleine dingen die wat minder waren en wat schoner kunnen, en er zijn weinig bedjes bij het zwembad maar als je er vroeg genoeg bent is het goed te doen. Lekker dicht bij centrum, kleine 400m wandelen voor dichtstbijzijnde winkel en eet tentjes. Binnenzwembad mooi en verzorgd en lekker rustig in de zomerperiode.

The food served is nice and fresh and the chicken is halal, the beauty lab is also very nice, I can highly recommend Naima there she was very kind :))

At first, we were skeptical about this hotel due to some of the reviews we had read. Nevertheless, we decided to go, keeping our expectations low.||To our surprise, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional—top-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. For dinner, there was fresh fish, salmon, tuna… and in the mornings and evenings, prosciutto was always available. The food was truly on another level.||The staff in the restaurant were professional, polite, and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience.||The rooms were newly renovated with a luxurious feel—excellent bed for sleeping, fluffy pillows and duvets, and plenty of small thoughtful touches that made the stay truly extraordinary. For example, if you didn’t bring a beach bag, they provide one in the room for you to use—such a simple gesture, but incredibly practical and appreciated.||The infinity pool, spa, and saunas with breathtaking sea views were just stunning. Honestly, those views alone are worth the price. There were plenty of loungers and shaded areas, so everyone could find their own perfect spot.||Parking costs €20 per day, which at first seemed a bit high—but considering that public parking on the street is €25.50 per day, the garage is actually a good deal.||Suggestions for improvement:||– A drying rack in the room for swimwear and towels would be helpful, especially if you don’t have a balcony.||– On the pool terrace, water from the upper level sometimes drips onto the loungers below. This could easily be solved by adding gutters.||– In the spa area, it was too hot on the loungers and there was no real way to cool down unless you moved to the pool area in another room.||- It would be nice if still tap water was offered free of charge with dinner.||Overall excellent experience and we will definitely be coming back soon!

Eines der vielen Massenhotels im Besitz eines kroatischen Minioligarchen. Die Zimmer sind Mini. Vorteil: sehr nahe zur Promenade. Aber kein eigener Strand! Das Frühstück reichlich aber einseitig und mittelprächtige Qualität. Dass der Parkplatz gesondert zu zahlen ist, ist nicht einzusehen. Sauberkeit: ja aber nicht übertrieben. Insgesamt deutlich überzahlt. Vier Sterne sind völlig übertrieben.

We’ve just finished our 5-day stay at the hotel. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the hotel from the outside, as it didn’t look as good as in the pictures on Booking.com. The paid parking at €20 per day seems a bit excessive to me, and I believe the price should be lower. The pool is a bit too small for the number of guests, and the sunbeds are very tightly packed. On the plus side, the view is beautiful and the water is refreshingly cool. The hotel is listed on Booking.com as being “by the beach,” but in reality, it should say “by the water” – there’s no actual beach there. Our trip included breakfast and dinner, and I have to say the restaurant staff are doing an amazing job. The food is fresh, tasty, and there’s plenty of it. The staff are friendly and always smiling. One thing I really didn’t like is that the hotel doesn’t serve any drinks with dinner – which I find quite odd and disappointing.

We chose Grand Hotel Adriatic for a short stay in Opatija because of its competitive price in the area, nice sea view rooms, and good location. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the pool area was pleasant — overall a solid value for the price. However, we discovered the in-room hairdryer was already burned out when we tried to use it — likely due to poor maintenance, as it seemed clogged with dust and lint. It filled the room with smoke and a strong burnt smell. I contacted reception about this four times during our stay: first to report it, then to follow up when nothing happened, later asking if we could get another room or at least a proper fix since I’m pregnant and sensitive to smells. They did apologize and eventually (after the third contact) brought an old replacement unit, but the burned dryer remained plugged into the wall for our entire stay (with some smell and an unsafe feeling). No alternative room was offered, no discount, no gesture to ease the unpleasant experience — it felt dismissed as a minor issue. Nice hotel and environment, but the poor and careless handling of a safety problem left a bad impression.

Уже второй год выбираем этот отель, и скажу что еще бы сюда вернулись, номера, вид, обслуживание, все отлично, завтраки очень хорошие, рекомендуем, единственное что не понравилось это то что нету пляжа, но зато есть спа и бассейн. Однозначно еще раз сюда вернемся.

The hotel it's nice a new. But be careful when you book your stay because the rooms with balcony and see view are in different building and it's 3 stars. This was a little bit confusing.

Ми не будемо рекомендувати даний готель. Нас поселили у корпус І. Він пережив своє життя. Номери дуже маленькі, незручні. Немає де покласти свої валізи. Кондиціонер працював, але виключався собі вночі. Ковролін був брудний, постіль у волоссі.. чорному, довгому, яку захочеш 😔 Адміністрації максимально неприємна. Сніданок смачний. До басейну і до моря треба пройти шлях сходами вниз. Лежаки та парасолька 25€. Але засмагати можна до 15:00, так як потім сонце ховається за деревами. На 3тю добу переселились у корпус ІІ. Він новий, кращий. Парковка доба 20€. Є парковка біля готелю 25€. Ми більше не приїдемо в даний готель. Нажаль їм байдуже на клієнтів..

Bez ikakve zamjerke, sve je bilo super. Unatoč ostalim (lošim) recenzijama bili smo skeptični, no klimatizacija potpuno u redu, hrana super, na bazenu nije bilo toliko gužve. Odsjeli smo s petka na subotu početkom srpnja u Grand Hotel Adriatic I. Puno je bolje uzeti sobu u tom dijelu, vidi se razlika, a odnos cijene je neprimjetan. Savršen odmor! Moje preporuke!

Un hotel de lux amplasat lângă promenada și aproape de malul Mării Adriatice, piscina exterioară este superbă și cu o priveliște mirifică iar piscina interioară la fel cu vedere spre mare, locuri de parcare sunt în incinta hotelului și costă 20€ pe zi, micul dejun este variat și pentru toate gusturile, hotelul are în apropiere multe restaurante și hoteluri și nu este departe de centrul orașului Opatija, recomand cu încredere și sperăm să revenim din nou.

Odličan hotel na super lokaciji! Čiste i moderne sobe, ljubazno osoblje i fantastičan vanjski infinity bazen s pogledom na more – pravi užitak. Spa zona je vrhunska, doručak bogat i ukusan. Vraćamo se sigurno!
